Spratling designed this "pyramid" buckle in the 1940's. The buckle measures 2 1/8" X 1 1/2". It weighs 40 grams & will fit a 1 1/8" wide strap. An extremely fine late 19th century natural shell cameo mounted in 12K yellow gold circa 1890. This large 2-1/8" x 1-3/4" cameo features a beautifully hand carved left-facing portrait of a lovely woman - her hair is shown with a most unusual wind-swept appearance, really graceful and remarkably realistic. It has a gate-latch safety catch and it weighs 17.4 grams...

This late 19th-century gunmetal chain has both length and strength, with a bold, stunning look. It features a secure spring-ring clasp and a glossy, blue-black finish, produced by electroplating a coating of iron over a white metal. The links are securely soldered, save for the end link, which may have had a jump ring. Unclasped, the chain measures 51 inches long.

A lovely Victorian 10K yellow gold locket, the front cover decorated with an embossed lion’s head. The lions mouth grasps an old mine cut diamond and the eyes are set with bright demantoid garnets. The small diamond is nice quality with bright color and good clarity. Demantoids were only discovered in Russian in 1868, so it was still a fairly novel gemstone when this locket was created.
