A 10k rose gold garnet bar pin from 1880-1910. This simple and elegant 1-7/8" brooch features a central claw-set rose cut garnet. It has a stylized c-clasp, it measures 3/16" across the garnet and it tests as 10k gold (it is unmarked). It weighs 2.5 grams and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs...

A very nice pair of Retro 18K yellow gold cufflinks in the stirrup (“etrier”) popularized by Cartier. During the war years, even the most exclusive European jewelers frequently used synthetic rubies and sapphires because natural material simply wasn’t available. The square cut stones are channel set along the sides of the cufflinks, and a single stone is collet-set at either end of the closing mechanism...

This lovely earrings and brooch set has a beautiful, ribbon design in silver. The brooch measures 2 1/2" x 1 3/4". The earrings are clipbacks and measure 1 1/2" x 1". All pieces are marked EMMONS. The earrings are also marked PAT. PEND. This 3-piece suite is in excellent condition.

A substantial pair of 14K yellow gold cufflinks, each of the oval faces inset with a mother-of-pearl plaque centering a bezel-set round brilliant diamond of approximately .6 carat. The outer edges of the faces is finished in a border of small round diamonds. The hinges and either end of the back closures are finished with spessartite garnet cabochons. The diamonds are G color, I1 clarity.

An extremely rare pair of 18K yellow gold and citrine cufflinks by the mid-century Brazilian jewelry designers Roberto and Haroldo Burle Marx. The Burle Marx brothers were particularly know for their use of colored gemstones fashioned in the "forma livre" (free-form) style. Haroldo invented the technique of carving and tumbling forma livre stones in 1948, and the style of the swivel mechanism suggests that the cufflinks are relatively early—probably around 1955...

A lovely maiden surrounded by a bower of daisies is featured in this Art Nouveau 10K gold pendant/watch pin. In Victorian flower language, the daisy represented "innocence." The design is nicely detailed. Tested and guaranteed 10K.

Silver dragon head pin copying that of William Spratling by Serafin Moctezuma, Mexico, c.1950's. Much to the annoyance of Spratling, Moctezuma copied his designs, including the mark "SM", which when turned upside down, looks like a stylized WS, similar to that of Spratling. This great little Mayan dragon head, stands on its own and is quite charming. The pin measures 1 3/8" long by 1" wide. It is signed "980 SM TAXCO" and is in excellent condition...

This band ring is 3/8" wide. It is a size 9. It has a nice oxidized background and patina. It is marked MEXICO MA and has the eagle / assay mark that is hard to make out. This piece is in excellent condition.

In the manner of Liberty, here is a wonderful turquoise with matrix pendant framed in a sterling and gold floral setting. The Arts and Crafts pendant measures 2" x 1-7/8"; the 18" period paper link chain is marked sterling. The pendant is unmarked.

A very fine 19th century French 18K gold locket, the cover in a very three-dimensional design of overlapping geometric shaped enhanced with calibre-cut Persian turquoise, seed pearls and rose cut diamonds. The turquoise are all original, and a few are have taken on the darker greenish cast often found in Victorian-era turquoise. Additional scrollwork, beading and engraving completes the design. I acquired this Georg Jensen silver repousse bracelet years ago but waited for a long time to present it in the store - I was tempted to keep it and would have done so but for its length. Circa 1949-1953, this is a very rare pin from Antonio Pineda, bearing his "Jewels by Antonio" hallmark. A pair of vintage 14Kt yellow gold lever back earrings is set with 4.5 millimeter deep red coral balls. The earrings date back circa 1970 and were made in Italy. The diameter of the flowers is ½” and the height of the earrings is ¾”.
