Magnificent handmade sterling cuff with precise fine line chiseling by Navajo Sam Roanhorse (1916-1988). He was the brother of Ambrose Roanhorse, who he studied with, and also worked for the White Hogan Shop from 1951-52. His work is rare to find and highly collectible. A lovely late Victorian 18K gold locket enhanced with ornate pierced arabesques and pearl-studded laurel wreaths. The pearls have particularly nice color and luster.
