An 18k rubies sapphires emeralds and pearls flower spray brooch circa 1960s. This beautifully made 1-7/8" across pin is 18 K yellow gold set with genuine gem stones and cultured pearls. It has textured leaves, a safety catch and it is stamped 18K and has an E.J. maker's mark. It weighs 12.6 grams, and it in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

This is a Los Castillo design made by Hilario Lopez who worked for several Tallers through his career(of which one was Margot de Taxco) and he was an accomplished Maestro. The construction is open backed repousse but it is framed in heavy silver making a respectable 80 grams heavy. There is lots of bead work executed on this design and it is in impeccable condition. If you could find an original Los Castillo of this rare design it would cost at least twice what this one costs...

This vintage size 7-1/4 or size 7.25 ring features one 15 point round brilliant cut diamond (SI-2, G-H colour) along with sixteen round brilliant cut diamonds (total 50 point, SI2-I1, G-H colour). Large Gusanos (caterpiller)Mexican solid gold earrings at 2inches by half an inch wide make for a grand presence. The weight is 7.3 grams of gold that tests from around 9kt to 12kt. These older filigree pieces are not signed and originate from Oaxaca. Absolutely lovely 2 rows of seed pearls are wired and tied off on the back and some solder over the ends finishes the durability of the piece. The seed pearls look more silver than the monitor shows them to be.

Vintage pearl and sterling silver bracelet designed and signed circa 1950's by Taxco, Mexico modernist artist Antonio Pineda. Bracelet measures 6 1/4" long X 5/8" wide. Hallmarked with Antonio crown, Taxco, 970 and eagle. The design features 11 pearls each set within a round oxidized silver cup. Each cup framed by a thick silver square. This bracelet is a signed Hector Aguilar X chased jewel. The height is .75in. tall and there are 4 bezel set amethyst stones. There is a 2.5in. diameter and it fits more like a bangle but it is hinged. The silver is thick at 60 grams heavy. The amethyst ranges in colors and swirls of colors. This is a published design in Silver Masters by Penny Morrill. This is a very rare bracelet you never see and is a perfect buy for collectors.

Margot van Voorhies was married to Antonio Castillo and they opened Los Castillo where Margot became well known for her designs. After a divorce she opened her own taller Margot de Taxco. This is design number 5213 the hearts. You see this design with glass or amethyst centers but this one is a rare sterling dome. The length is 15 inches and is 1 1/8th inches tall. The links are without damage and is properly hallmarked as shown. A treasure of collector quality, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE.
