Silver dragon head pin copying that of William Spratling by Serafin Moctezuma, Mexico, c.1950's. Much to the annoyance of Spratling, Moctezuma copied his designs, including the mark "SM", which when turned upside down, looks like a stylized WS, similar to that of Spratling. This great little Mayan dragon head, stands on its own and is quite charming. The pin measures 1 3/8" long by 1" wide. It is signed "980 SM TAXCO" and is in excellent condition...

A wonderful vintage hand wrought sterling silver bracelet in an Arts and Crafts design. Signed with a conjoined 'JM' for Joseph Masaniello, a New York Mid Century Modernist jeweler who was instructed in Arts and Crafts traditions. Also marked Sterling. Measures 7 7/8" long and 1" at the widest. Has a hook clasp that holds securely. Curved vines design sits nicely around the wrist. Nice warm patina, very well made.

A moonstone glass and blue rhinestone and glass brooch pin from the 1950s. This cool 1-7/8 x 1-3/8" pin features marquise and cabochon white moonstone glass stones with nice reflective play as well as two open-back blue glass stones and closed-back blue rhinestones. Today we are offering from the taller of Margot de Taxco a large floral necklace and matching bracelet. This design 5488 comes in two sizes with this being the larger example at 1.25in. tall. The repousse is thick silver and both pieces have a combined weight of 115 grams. The bracelet is 7in. long and it will hook into the necklace for a long chain. The necklace is 18in. long. Both are properly hallmarked as shown. Without dents or any type of damage just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

This Yao necklace and matching pair of earrings have added beads and long silk tassels. Both are light weight and easy to wear. The earrings are hollow with the same repeated design pattern on the backside. The wire loop may be a bit thick as they were made to accommodate the large ear holes which are traditional for the Chinese minority groups. These loops could easily be changed out for posts or a thinner wire hoop.

We have an obsidian stone Mask brooch that exhibits an exceptional gold sheen. The brooch is 2 in. by 1.5in. Signed RB and with eagle 3. The carving has no chips, cracks or damage. The gold sheen obsidian is getting harder to obtain today and this is a beauty. The silver work on the head dress is exemplary. It was difficult to get a picture of the sheen with my camera. The lighter color is the reflection from light casting on the sheen.

A most elegant unsigned piece. The translucent glass stones shimmer in a rich red color. The stones are very interesting since the front side of the large square stones are beveled, while the under side of those stones are dome shaped with a carved checkerboard pattern. A 10k yellow spinel gold ring from the 1950s. This vintage size 7-3/4 or 7.75 yellow gold ring features a claw-set faceted 5/16" x 1/4" across pale yellow spinel. This simple handmade sterling silver pin features a golf club applied to a rectangular panel; a 1941 penny is set from the back within a horseshoe-shaped frame.
