An extremely fine 14K white gold and pearl brooch by Mikimoto. Even by Mikimoto’s standards, the pearls are particularly good quality, with cream body color and strong rose overtones. The pearls are also quite generously sized, ranging from 7.85mm to 8.35. The surfaces have only slight natural blemishes and offer superb, clear reflections. AA pearls of this size were only rarely used by Mikimoto in brooches, as they were more often set aside for use in strands...

Elegant vintage 14K yellow gold brooch set with eight beautiful Mikimoto pearls. The pearls are, of course, of the very finest quality. They have bright white body color with silver overtones. This bracelet exhibits a classic Scandinavian style extremely popular during the 1950s and 1960s. This wonderful brooch exhibits a foliate, flowering branch motif. Its 3 circular, petals are slightly convex with striations to central buds. The curved stems are adorned with the same buds / balls (just a bit larger). This piece measures 1 5/8" x 1 1/4" x 1/4". A sterling silver heavy, modernist pendant in a brutalist style possibly designed by Henning Koppel for the Danish silversmith, Niels Erik (NE) From. Have not been able to find any other designer with HK hallmark.

A wonderfully heavy vintage silver bracelet by Hermès. The bracelet has a triangular profile that stands well out from the surface of the wrist and a masterfully constructed so that it is flexible, but appears rigid when being worn. The inside edges of each link are parcel gilt, so the bracelet sometimes shows the slightest gold hue. This is probably the heaviest Hermès bracelet we have seen. A classic, and much published, design for Hector Aguilar, the “masks” bracelet was not an example of the Taxco maestro’s work that I was particularly looking for. I considered it - let’s say - less impressive than the rest of his jewelry and resisted it for the longest of times. Until one day, I somehow ended up with one. And I fell in love- honestly...

A sassy dragon curled around a large amethyst-colored brilliant (yes, it’s glass) hides the hook that turns this into a watch pin. He has a dark red cabochon eye (probably also glass) and a colorless brilliant in his mouth. The pin is unmarked and is 1” by ¾” in size. The metal is vermeil (gold over silver). A round hinge and eared clasp suggest an age of late 1800s or early 1900s, but the exact age is unknown.

This lovely brooch / pin has a diameter of 1 1/4". The faceted, purple stone is bezel set, with a nice circle design. This Mexican sterling bracelet has a warrior-like feel, with its shield-like openwork panels. The domed centers are set with small black glass cabochons that could be obsidian. These sterling silver earrings have a great mod, geo design. They are by silversmith Miguel Garcia Martinez, a primary designer for Rancho Alegre, Taxco, Mexico. The turquoise stones are bezel-set in a tear-drop shape that matches the shape of the earrings (which are slightly concave). Both earrings are marked miguel (in script) and 231. They are also hallmarked RANCHO ALEGRE. They dangle 1 1/2" from their screwback closures. They are circa 1960s and are in excellent condition.

An exceptional gilt filigree scarab bracelet marked on the box clasp LORAN SIM. The company was in production during the 50's-60's in Providence, RI. One link is attached to the filigree by a small thread.(It's very hard to discern, though one may want to have a jeweler resolder it.See photo with blue scarab.)Please refer to the carnelian scarab for internal cracks. This lovely, sterling silver, Mexican, well-crafted bracelet displays shiny, turquoise cabochons on each ornate link. It is 6 3/4" long. Each convex link measures approximately 1 1/4" x 1". It has a box clasp marked STERLING 925, and, in a circle on the back of one of the links: TAXCO HECHO EN MEXICO (blurry) with the an illegible mark in the middle. It has a V-spring and Box Clasp marked STERLING 925. It has good heft, weighing just under 1 1/2 ounces and is in great condition.
