This set consists of a spectacular, large bracelet with matching earrings. Each onyx stone is bezel set. The bracelet measures 6 3/4" x 1" x 3/8" and has a V-spring and Box Clasp. The earrings are screwbacks and measure 1" x 3/4" x 3/8". The back of the bracelet is marked DEL RIO 0.925 HECHO EN MEXICO STERLING. The bracelet has good heft, weighing just about over 85 grams (3 ounces). The set has a beautiful design and is in excellent condition.

This striking design was created by Taxco, Mexico modernist Antonio Pineda in the 1950's. 20 brilliant tigers eye stones are set into 970 sterling frames. This is a very early work from Sigi Pineda, and dates to the early 1950's when he first opened his own shop. The shop was named "Plateros", later renamed "Sigi".
