An irregular shaped piece of amber is mounted in a handmade bezel. The mounting is decorated with hand-applied silver biomorphic protrusions. These 1960s Scandinavian earrings have distinctive, lacy frames, each set with a cabochon carnelian in a bezel mounting. The clip backs are marked S925 and are original; the earrings are probably Danish. The earrings measure ½ inch wide.
A pair of elegant sterling silver and diamond earrings with the woven design is pave set with 104 diamonds. The pave center is encircled by a vermeil (gold on silver) frame. A truly spectacular sterling tufa cast ring with 14k gold saw tooth bezel set Carico Lake turquoise by Pala Mission-Cherokee jeweler and sculptor Larry Golsh. A fine 19K yellow gold folding ball locket with a capacity for four images. The exterior is decorated with a stippled checkerboard pattern with a belt on either side that holds the sphere closed. When the belts are unlatched, the locket opens accordian-style to reveal the inner frames. These lockets have become increasingly difficult to find. The locket is stamped with Portuguese hallmarks for .800 (19.2K) gold.
