This Scottish blood stone, brass & cairngorn brooch is 1 3/4" in diameter. The brass fillagree base is very similar to Miriam Haskell backs. There are for round blood stone disks measuring 3/8" in diameter and 4 diamond shaped.

Blood stone is Plasma with red sports of iron oxide. Plasma is dark green, opaque chalcedonly quartz with the color coming from the chlorite.

This beautiful old miniature depicts a lovely lady, hand painted, in an asymmetrical frame set with seed pearls. Absolutely stunning on with a length of 7 inches and a weight of a solid 68 grams. Hallmark correctly shown for Antonio Pineda. The presence is sleek at just under 1 inch. Each moonstone is framed with two caviar balls. The moonstones glow a beautiful blue and there is no damage or repairs. Ca 1940 Here is another early bracelet and necklace with hematite stones created by Laurence Foss, a designer at Georg Jensen. The stones are in perfect condition and the silver has a lovely patina. Both the necklace and bracelet are marked with the Foss stamp Sterling. The bracelet is also marked 416A while the necklace, 416-1/2. The bracelet measures 7" x 3/4"and weighs 25.5 grams; the necklace is 15-1/2" including hook and weighs 33grams. A lovely collector's piece.

This handmade abstract pin features a biomorphic design composed of a slice of translucent banded carnelian with an unpolished edge, secured within a biomorphic frame of thick, hand-wrought sterling silver wire. It is unsigned and bears only a sterling mark. A rollover clasp secures the pin. The stone is in lovely condition, and is held in place by small silver bands applied across the front and back frames; there is no adhesive. The pin measures 2 inches by 2 1/2 inches.
