Charming vintage layered plastic figural brooch in white and dark pink with painted detail, in the form of a sailor. This is a French piece; several are pictured in the 2003 edition of "Plastic Jewelry" by Lilian Baker, with updates by Ginger Moro and Karima Parry. This piece is 1960s or 1970s. From a Baltimore estate.

An attractive pair of mid-century 14K gold cufflinks, the faces divided diagonally into contrasting triangles. On each face, one triangle is deeply ribbed, while the smooth portion features a gypsy-set diamond. The angularity of the design makes for a very modernistic appeal. The diamonds are graded as J/I2. Very nice 14 karat yellow and rose gold brooch in the Retro Modern style, set with a single deeply lustrous 4.5mm pearl. The circle is rose gold, and the leaves are a slightly green-tinted yellow gold. The interplay of gold colors is a signature of period Retro Modern jewelry. The back is marked by the jeweller, A. J. Hedges & Co.

Here is a wonderful, old, museum-quality sterling Jensen charm bracelet with eight charms. Five charms (frog,elephant,turtle,fish and seahorse ) carry the 1933-1944 Jensen mark. The ship charm, stamped CGH (C. G. Hallberg, Stockholm, Sweden) is dated N8 for 1939. The well- defined heavy dog and monkey charms as well as the enamel clogs are unmarked.The fancy link bracelet is stamped 22 along with the Jensen logo and measures 7” x 1/4" . A colorful Venetian Etruscan fob charm worked in 18K yellow gold and set with six emerald cut amethysts. The gold surfaces are covered with ornate ropetwists, rosettes and beading. The shape—sort of an elongated barrel—is unusual and shows off the richly-colored amethysts to good advantage. The jump ring is marked 750 for "18K".
