A rare sterling silver cuff bracelet by Salvador Teran with a shadowbox design.

Marked Salvador, Sterling, Mexico, and Design 165. Pre Eagle. Measures approximately 5 1/4" around, with a 1 1/4" opening and 7/8" at the widest. Made to fit snuggly. There is no give so can not be adjusted.

I love to find these rare pieces made by unknown makers. This one is exceptional. The size of the center link is 2.5 inches. There is a wearable length of 19 inches. All other links and earrings are 1.5 inches long. No chips or cracks to the stones and no dents to the silver. The lock is hidden under a link showing a well thought out design. Intricately carved unusual natural coral ring consisting of rosebuds set in a 14 kt yellow gold stylized basket with 3 natural rubies on the handle. A vintage silver, probably sterling, brooch with a carved carnelian cabochon. Measures 2" long and 1 1/2" across. Marked with what looks like the stylized initials 'ES'. The cabochon has 5 small drilled holes. We are not sure what the purpose was. Has a 'C' clasp that holds securely. Has a little tarnish. Very pretty design.

An early cross pendant in Sterling Silver with Coral, Amethyst and Turquoise by Matilde Poulat. Cross measures 1 3/4" wide and 1 7/8" tall. Marked MATL in script, Mexico, 925 and Pate 10670. Amethyst stone is faceted. Suspended on a 26" long Taxco hand wrought sterling chain marked with an Eagle #3, and the initials PCM. Fine condition, the colors of the stones are vibrant. Classic MATL design.

Lushly designed floral sterling and amethyst pin sold by Sanborn's and possibly made by Fred Davis who managed and designed for the store from 1947 through the early 50's, Mexico, c.1950. Pin is signed "bellmark 22", which was Sanborn's number. It measures 2 1/8" long by 1" wide. Excellent condition except that pin was probably changed with lead solder. This pin is hallmarked "Kreisler" on the pin. It is 2 1/4" in diameter. The 10mm wide stone simulates amber in the center of the pin. The abstract leaves are in a warm gold tone while the rest of the pin is silver colored metal. The center stone is surrounded by 3 silver toned "leaves" . This pin consists of three layers and riveted together. It is very glamorous.

A vintage hand wrought Sterling Silver necklace and matching pierced earrings in a floral design by the noted Arts and Crafts silversmith, Madeleine Turner. This 'Penguin' jelly belly pin has an unknown manufacturer and designer. It is gold plated metal brooch, lucite and red cabochon, in the shape of a penguin. It is 7.5 x 3 cm. It is not marked. Lucite jelly bellies were copied from figurals originally done in gold and rock crystal.

Lovely necklace with black glass beads and groups of dark blue melon beads with pale blue ruffled beads, all wired in dark goldtone metal. Circa 1940, probably French. 58 inches wearable length. This Coro rooster in gold plated base metal with black beak,eye,and feet and a red. The enameling on the tail is white with gold feather accents. The rooster stomach is a large amber colored crystal which measures 1 1/4 x 3/4". The stone shows an indention in the glass which appears to be smooth like it was a pour problem rather than a chip.

A classic 1940s engagement ring, this beauty features an approximately 0.60 Ct brilliant cut diamond center stone set in platinum. The sparkler is flanked on either side by a smaller brilliant cut diamond that matches the center stone. The center diamond has H color and VS2 clarity and the approximate total weight of all diamonds is 0.72 Ct.

A vintage hand made sterling silver brooch with a swan motif by Carl Poul Petersen, the Canadian silversmith who signed his work with the stylized CPP.

He was born in Denmark, married Georg Jensen's daughter and apprenticed with him before moving to Montreal. He eventually opened his own workshop.

This is fantastic piece of 40s figural jewelry. Each of the five links is set with hand painted figural Asia Princess face masks and accented with small faux pearls and a gold headband with tassel drops. Each face has red lips and white eyebrows and eye slits.

Another masterpiece by Renoir. This shiny all -copper set is large and impressive and appears to have not been worn very much if at all. All pieces are signed "Renoir" with a "c" in a circle.

This tennis racket and tennis ball pin is made in Mexico. It is marked 925. The ball is a pearl. I cannot make out the makers mark. It is 2 3/8" x 15/16"

This sterling floral spray is 3 1/8" long by 1 3/" wide. All the rhinestones seem to be original to the piece. It is hallmarked "sterling". However, it looks a lot like Trifari from the 1940s.

This Joseff of Hollywood crab, shell and 13 mm pearl brooch is in excellent condition. The mysteries of the Middle East influenced this design.

The detailed modeling is in the Russian gold finish they made famous for its photographic effect. The crab sits on a scallop shell and holds a large and lustrous simulated pearl. It is hallmarked Joseff signature on an applied plaque. It is 2" x 2 1/4".

Joseff was the jeweler for the Hollywood movie moguls form 1930-1948.

This hand wrought silver bracelet was designed by Hector Aguilar in the early 1940's. The carved rope wraps all the way around the bracelet. Weighing 35 grams it measures 3/4" wide and about 2 1/2 inches across. The piece has a beautifully aged patina with normal wear. Fully hallmarked for Aguilar on the inside.

This Showgirl-in-profile pin with long wavy bejeweled tresses. It is two toned riveted metal version.

This pin is 2 7/8" long by 2" wide.

Because of its size and aesthetic appeal, the "Showgirl" is a satisfying motif to collect in its many permutations, including the wood version.

This Los Castillo design 262 is an early one created when Margot Van Voorhies was married to Don Antonio Castillo. I believe these early pieces are the very best of her work. Stunning in size with an almost 2 inches of height and a weight of 84 grams of almost pure 980 silver. The condition reflects no damage and also well cared for over time. The diameter is 2.25 inches with the gap set at 1in. This can be professionally adjusted for most to fit. One of the best from the Spratling Era.
