An unusual pendant by the noted modernist jeweler, Paul Lobel. This pendant, made of sterling with an amber insert, can be worn on either side for 2 different looks. A rare sterling silver bracelet with teardrop shaped bezel set amethyst cabochons from the workshops of Antonio Pineda in Taxco. In this version, the amethyst is completely encased in a sterling outer teardrop.

The bracelet measures 7 1/8" long and 1 1/4" wide. Has a secure box clasp. Marked with a partial Pineda Crown. Has some tarnish and minor signs of wear. The stones feel smooth with no chips or roughness. They have natural inclusions.

A nicely-detailed late Victorian pin depicting a lion’s head. The open mouth grasps a 10-point old European-cut diamond, while each eye is set with a small cabochon ruby. The head is surrounded by flowing fur that hints at Art Nouveau styling. The design is similar to a tiger’s head brooch that was made by Alling & Co., and probably was made by one of Alling’s Newark competitors. The c-clasp is an old replacement. This bracelet consists of 6 hinged links, each slightly convex. Each has a lovely, filigree design with a decorative border in which the turquoise blue, Egyptian, faience scarabs are set. A very handsome and heavy pair of double-sided 18K gold cufflinks, the oval faces decorated with stripes of engine-turned engraving and translucent royal blue guilloche enamel. This lovely pin is 14 k gold. The very Victorian motif of hearts on a crescent is outlined in seed pearls. It is hallmarked but the mark is incomplete; the marks for Birmingham and England are present, along with an unidentified mark. There is no date stamp but the 2" wide pin appears to be circa 1890.

The groups of Yao minority live in in both China and Thailand. This necklace is of low grade silver which was typical of the Chinese jewelry around the late 1800's and early 1900's. The necklace is light weight and comfortable to wear.

This reasonably priced elegant estate platinum and diamond engagement ring from the 1960-s is centered by a 1.65Ct marquise diamond. The non certified diamond has H color and I1 clarity. The center stone is flanked on either side by a tapered diamond baguette. The approximate total weight of the baguettes is 0.20Ct, which would bring the total weight of all diamonds to 1.86Ct.
