An extremely rare 18K yellow gold bracelet in the Sputnik design by H Stern. The domes are bezel-set with round amethysts, aquamarines, citrines, green tourmalines, pink tourmalines and garnets. The design was created in the 1950s to showcase the range of colored gemstones available from Stern's mines in Brazil. It later came to be called "Sputnik" because of its resemblance to the spiky Soviet satellite launched in 1957...

Gorgeous & extremely rare this vintage abalone & sterling silver bracelet was designed & signed c. 1950 by Taxco, Mexico modernist artist Antonio Pineda (1919-2009). The bracelet measures 2 inches high at the front center & 3/4 inch at the back spring. Wearable interior length is 6 1/2 inches. Screw back earrings are 1 inch high. Bracelet spring is tight and secure. The hand carved abalone leaves have an exquisite iridescent sheen. All in excellent condition with a beautiful warm patina.

This Fred Davis ring was produced in the 1930's to early 1940's. It features a large hand-cut and polished amethyst cabochon, and is a generous size 7. The face of the ring is 13/16", with a depth of 3/8". The stone itself is gorgeous, with natural inclusions and quartz marbling. Weight is 9.8grams. Signed and hallmarked with the conjoined FD and Made in Mexico Silver. In excellent vintage condition.

A handsome pair of 14K white gold cufflinks, each face formed from a plaque of lapis surrounded by smaller lapis batons. The canted corners are set with round brilliant-cut diamonds, as are the centers of the faces. The diamonds are graded as H/I color and SI1 clarity. The lapis is finely colored with only a minimal amount of the mica inclusions. The toggle backs are marked “585” for 14K.

Distinctly Egyptian Revival in its inspiration, the set of Mexican Deco dangle earrings at hand reminds me very much of elements in Margot de Taxco's "Cleopatra" parure; more specifically, the feathers of the "vulture crown" the pharaoh is wearing. More stylized in our case they are here involved in an elaborate knot forming sculptural dangles that hang off the sweetest repousse rosettes...

A very rare 14K yellow gold and enamel pin in the form of an oyster shell complete with a small pearl. The enamel is beautifully worked in shades of greenish- and silvery-grey. The shell is depicted as slightly opened with pearl resting along the opened edge. The back of the pin is stamped with the 14K gold hallmark of Alberts & Son, Inc., one of the Newark jewelers.

Elegant peaked link necklace in 940 silver by Mexican silversmith Hector Aguilar. This necklace is a choker style that sits perfectly on the neck and terminates with a hook closure. A sterling silver floral brooch by Georg Jensen USA designed by Alphonse La Paglia. We've seen this brooch marked with the design number 103, but this one is not marked with a design number. Measures 1 7/8" long and 1 5/8" across. Marked Georg Jensen, Inc. U.S.A. Hand Wrought, Sterling. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. A few of the petals are slightly bent. Has a little tarnish and some minor surface scratches. Well made and heavy.

Huge red pear shaped rhinestone eyes predominate on the rabbits face., His red enamel teeth give him a silly grin.

This sterling bracelet features a sophisticated design influenced by the ancient Americas, composed of rectangular, scrolled links. An elegant Art Nouveau cross pendant worked in a foliate design of 18K yellow gold overlaid with a sunburst of milgrained platinum set with rose cut diamonds and centering a larger old mine cut diamond.
