This wonderful, vintage necklace and drop is c. 1950's. The decorative ball consists of 4 large, glass, faceted stones. The aurora borealis colors shine, topped by a rhinestone "cap." A set of six matching hand-carved unset shell cameos depicting a woman, perfect for a bracelet or necklace. They measure on average 5/16" x 7/16" and they dates to the 1930s. Ca 1960 There was an original tag now lost that read "Hand Crafted Austrian Brilliants"--this lot includes heavy clip-on pendant earrings that hang 1-1/2" and a brooch that measures 2" round. Two marquise stones (one on an earring, the other on the pin)have been reset but are difficult to identify.

Beautiful vintage French wired necklace in silvertone metal with rhinestone balls with prong set stones, clear faceted glass beads, and glass based faux pearls in champagne and very pale gray. With early spring ring clasp with a collar instead of the thumb tab. Probably 1950s or earlier. 52 inches wearable length. The glass beads are 11mm or just over 3/8 inch. Overall excellent condition with some verdigris on some of the wires, and some losses on two or three of the faux pearls...

I have seen these brooches described as unsigned Hattie Carnegie or unsigned Kenneth Jay Lane. The colors are fabulous and the detail is wonderful. An unusual color combination.
