An elegant Belle Epoque 18K yellow gold negligee pendant necklace, the old mine cut diamond drops formed as pansies. Pendant necklaces of this type, called negligees (from the French word for "careless"), were so called because of their assymetry. The subtle pansy design is achieved by combining three larger diamonds at the top of each cluster to represent larger petals, and two smaller petals at the bottoms...

A great example of Victorian Etruscan work displayed on the middle nine links of this 18Kt yellow gold graduated bracelet. The bracelet graduates from the center where the width is 17 millimeters towards the two ends where the width is 9 millimeters. The center five links are further enhanced with eight seed pearls. The length of the bracelet is 8". The top of the bracelet is in very good condition, on the back there are some dents and dimples which are not visible when the bracelet is worn.

A lovely 14K gold Edwardian long chain set at regular intervals with round brilliant cut amethysts in collet settings. The necklace is completed with a dog clip clasp. Spectacular large 9-kt yellow gold, oval shell cameo brooch, 19th century, probably English. Centered in a corded bezel frame is a finely carved depiction of Demeter with her lion and wheat sheaf. Shell is brown/pink, "C" clasp. Length: 2 1/4". Weight: 21 grams. Excellent condition.

A wonderful Victorian equestrian pin in the form of a horseshoe nail enhanced with a cluster of small natural pearls, sapphires, and rubies. Nails were a popular motif in Victorian jewelry, and the red, white, and blue color scheme had momentary popularity around the time of the American centennial in 1876. This piece is a pin, but can easily be worn as a pendant suspended from a chain without alteration...

A superb pair of Victorian 12K gold articulated earrings set with Whitby jet. The long triangular elements are suspended from inverted double teardrop-shaped surmounts, and support cone-shaped jet drops. The cutting of the jet has a very angular, almost modernist appearance. A wonderful Art Nouveau stickpin depicting a native American warrior chief in 14K yellow gold. The man’s beautifully detailed face is surrounded by long hair and a feather war bonnet, the band centered by a small bead-set old European cut diamond. A quiver of arrows is slung across the chest. The pin is marked “14K” and has the maker’s mark for Krementz.

A pair of Victorian 12k rose gold drop earrings circa 1900. These (unmarked but tested) 12k rose gold drop earrings are mounted on later gold filled screwback mounts. These earrings measure 1-1/2 x 1/2" and they are of hollow construction. They dangle freely and the facetted balls move as well. A half-ball is mounted on each 12k gold filled back, and this pair weighs 2.4 grams...

A Victorian 14k diamond brooch circa 1890. This antique 1" across whirling circle pin has a free and graceful open filigree design. This round yellow gold pin shows the transition from stylized Victorian to the more flowing Art Nouveau influence. It measures 1 inch across, and in the centre is a claw set clear white genuine European antique cut diamond, measuring 3.5 mm. across (approximately 20 pt. by gauge) - it is is VS2 diamond of I-J colour...

A Victorian Edwardian green tourmaline, red spinel and pearls gold plated pendant on chain necklace circa 1890-1900. This 7/8 x 3/4" (including bale) pendant features nine neatly arrayed segments of four stones each - 4 of green tourmalines, 5 of natural small pearls with vivid silver lustre and 5 red spinels in the centers of each pearl section. Sections are divided with gold strips and the two halves of this locket-style pendant are soldered together (it doesn't open)...

Circa 1860's, a wonderful Persian turquoise and seed pearl bow brooch of sterling silver with C clasp, and in its original box. The brooch measures 2.5" x 1.25" and is in excellent condition, although the hinged straight pin could be straightened a bit.

A beautiful 18K gold fancy-link long chain necklace. The links are fashioned in an ornate Renaissance revival style. The chain can be worn at full length, or the clasp can be attached to an open link partway down the necklace and a pendant suspended from the final link. The necklace is marked twice with French 18K marks and an illegible maker’s mark.

A handsome pair of double-sided cufflinks, the faces set with with oval brilliant-cut amethysts set in simple 10K yellow gold collets. The amethysts have nicely saturated, even color that would look particularly good with a white or light blue cuff. The faces are fairly large, so they are connected with a removable s-link for ease in putting them through a buttonhole...

An intricately designed 14K yellow gold chain comprised of a double row of reeded oval links enhanced at regular intervals with engraved acanthus leaf plaques. The chain is from the late Georgian or early Victorian period, and is completely handmade. The clasp is a large bolt, reeded to match the links. A 9K almandine garnet sailor's or love knot rose gold collar or cravat pin brooch from the late Victorian era.
