Impressed signature on verso
Very good vintage condition retaining original patina
Here is an impressive, hand-constructed pendant of wound thick wire around a square piece of polished spectrolite. The stone has a lovely iridescence, and internal yellowish bands. The pendant is permanently attached to a thick chain that has no clasp; both the chain and pendant are silverplated; the pendant bears the impressed mark of Walter Arnesen, Copenhagen (1968-1973). The entire necklace, including pendant and chain, drops 15 inches.
The necklace is composed of graduated curled elements that drop from the chain. The earrings, which have secure clip backs, are designed with three nesting curls attached to an oblong panel. The pieces appear to have been hardly worn, with the copper surface retaining its original shiny finish...

Composed of a continuous metal band wound around a glass cabochon, this pendant has a clever design and sophisticated look. It needs only a simple cable chain and a dark fabric to bring out the cloudy, art glass that highlights pale pink or gray, depending on the light. The pendant measures about about 2 inches long. The silver chain in the last photo is sold separately.

This bangle features a ribbed surface on both sides, with alternating pockets of burnt orange and dark maroon enamels, with one pocket left undecorated — possibly for stamping what looks like a mark of some kind on the reverse...

A modernist pair of dangle earrings by Winifred Mason Chenet. According to published reports Winifred Mason Chenet was an African American woman hand crafting jewelry in Greenwich Village. These earrings have a smooth finish on the top and a hammered texture on the bottom. Chenet used some oxidation for an interesting contrast...
