The design is made from hammered copper disks with round brass overlays. The necklace measures 16 1/4" long with an extender added and closes securely with a hook clasp...
The pendant is attached to the neck ring with two round connectors with balls at each end. Measures 5 1/2" long including the connectors and 4 1/4" at the widest. It is slightly curved so lays nicely when worn, not too heavy.
Neck ring measures about 15" around with an opening of 1 3/4". There is some flexibility to adjust the size.

According to published reports Winifred Mason Chenet was an African American woman hand crafting jewelry in Greenwich Village. She worked with and trained Art Smith, a well respected African American modernist jeweler. She believed that each piece should be unique and distinctive. These earrings have two parts, the top is smooth polished copper and the bottom has a coiled brass overlay...
These screw back earrings measure 1" long and 3/4" wide. Both are signed with the 'Art Smith' script signature.
In fine condition with very minor surface scratches and areas of tarnish. Screw backs hold securely...

Has 'fingers' which hold the stone in place. Measures 3" long and 1 1/2" across. Has a secure rollover clasp and also a small bale so could be worn either as a brooch or on a chain. Can be worn up and down or sideways as a brooch. The bale is behind the figure's knee so the figure would be crawling down when worn on a chain.
