Late Art Deco to early retro and not easily found by this jewelry maker? This geometric bracelet is signed: ROLLED GOLD, KJ on feather for Kollmar & Jourdan, Made in Germany. This firm was established in 1885 in Pforzheim Germany and according to research destroyed during WWII, rebuilt and out of biz in 1977.

Here is an impressive, hand-constructed pendant of wound thick wire around a square piece of polished spectrolite. The stone has a lovely iridescence, and internal yellowish bands. The pendant is permanently attached to a thick chain that has no clasp; both the chain and pendant are silverplated; the pendant bears the impressed mark of Walter Arnesen, Copenhagen (1968-1973). The entire necklace, including pendant and chain, drops 15 inches.

Circa 1900 sash ornament that can be worn as brooch pin with wide "C" catch. The green 14mm oval art glass mottled stone, made to resemble apple green jade and referred to as Chinese peking glass, is bezel set amidst a lattice dome and highly ornate designs. You should see the globules within which is what makes this a very collectible simulated stone.

A wonderful example of Mid Century Modernist design.

This sparkling stunner has 2 big rhinestones (7/16”), 2 smaller ones (1/4”), and 8 small accent stones (there should be 9. One is missing, but it’s really hard to tell, due to all that sparkle), set in white metal. The whole thing measures 2” x 9/16” at the widest points. Stamped “Czechoslov” on the back, it is in overall good condition: the stones have a couple chips, and a little abrasion, but the stones are so sparkly it’s hard to spot these...

Honey colored amber brooch, made in Königsberg / Kaliningrad in the 1950’s. Four leaves and a gold-filled shaft with a Russian / Soviet hallmark. Width "1 ¾ / 4.5 cm. Condition: tip of one leaf with minimal damage (cf. pics).

The band is adjustable, and bears the unidentified maker’s mark of P.N., in addition to the Finland mark. The tiny bumps of metal on the edges are from the casting process. This charming pin is the embodiment of Victorian design. A very stylized butterfly perches on a row of 'gold' ball-shaped dangles. The butterfly is centered with a colorless brilliant, and flanked by small ruby pastes at each side. This lovely mesh handbag features painted flowers in pinks and greens on a whitish background. The yellow metal frame exhibits embossed scrolling and two decorative rings to which the chain is attached. The chain is composed of alternating oblong and figure-eight links. The silk lining is intact, but is wrinkled and shows two stained areas. There are no gaps in the meshwork, and all links appear to be intact. There is no wear to the decorative painting. A gold vermeil / gilt brass bangle with engraved steel applications of acanthus leaves. Victorian (English) or possibly French, c 1850. To be opened and shut through two little knobs in a steel monogram. Inner circumference when shut "6 2/3 / 17 cm Condition: could do with some professional care, part of the application is missing (cf. pics), still beautiful.

This splendid Victorian brooch is an example of the Egyptian Revival style. It is silver gilt with a polychrome enamel winged pharaoh. The old style of the tube hinge and C clasp date it as prior to 1900. tube hing. It is marked 800 (for silver content) and has an indecipherable maker's mark. The pin is 1 1/4 " X 5/8". There is a small crack in the enamel of one feather. It is 19th century in age.

Two impressive winged lions with their backs on each other make up the body of this antique yellow and rose gold-filled watch key. Part of a small collection I acquired some time ago that will be presented within the next couple of weeks, it is a very nicely detailed figural "bauble", perfect to be enjoyed alone or added to your neck mess. The watch key measures 1 3/4" tall (including bail and pin) by 1 1/8" wide and it weighs 4.8 grams (for reference only since there is no precious metal here)....

A very unusual hand wrought copper necklace with lightly hammered curved links. The end of each link slips through a small slit and is then hammered flat so it won't come out. Hard to explain but ingenious!
