Two impressive winged lions with their backs on each other make up the body of this antique yellow and rose gold-filled watch key. Part of a small collection I acquired some time ago that will be presented within the next couple of weeks, it is a very nicely detailed figural "bauble", perfect to be enjoyed alone or added to your neck mess. The watch key measures 1 3/4" tall (including bail and pin) by 1 1/8" wide and it weighs 4.8 grams (for reference only since there is no precious metal here)...

This clamper bracelet is circa 1940's. It measures 4" from top to bottom. The hinge is 3/4" long. I have not seen many Mexican, of this type in brass. The design is wonderful. The colorful abalone looks lovely in brass. The inside is marked HECHO EN MEXICO. It is in great condition.

A vintage modernist pendant necklace by noted mid century jeweler, Winifred Mason Chenet from her highly collectible Voodoo line. Pendant measures 3" long and 1 1/8" at the widest. Possibly pewter. Intricate chain is made up of silver colored squiggled links connected with brass rings and silver colored curved in links. Measures 32" long. No clasp, meant to go over the head. There is a little tarnish. Signed chenet on the back of the pendant. Interesting rare example.

This striking white metal locket is engraved on the front in a stylized pattern. The back is plain. The inside has some scratches in the metal. The photo rings and celluloid are not present, but perhaps it was used for a lock of hair or other memento – that was a very popular tradition, back in the day. A vintage modernist brooch by noted African American mid century jeweler, Winifred Mason Chenet in copper with 5 dangles. This rare and early brooch was done when she just signed her work Mason, prior to adding the Chenet d'Haiti in the early 1950s.

Measures 2 1/8" across and 3" high including the dangles. Made of oxidized copper with raised graduated bumps. The balls and chains are brass and the hooks connecting the balls are copper for an interesting contrast...

An Art Deco filigree cut crystal choker length necklace 1930. A very unusual hand made copper necklace with eight curled dangles and a central amber colored teardrop. Lightly hammered curved figure eight shaped links. The dangles have little brass beads at each end.

An Arts and Crafts Brass Fob with an Acid Etched Windmill design and a central green cabochon, attributed to Forest Craft Guild. Measures 1 1/2" across and 2 1/8" high. Has the original ribbon and clasp. The edge of the ribbon has a little fraying. Very well crafted. Wonderful condition.

This is a lovely Victorian pin has a coral branch supporting three dangles with coral beads and a small coral branch. The dangles give movement and liveliness when pin is worn. The whiplash design of the mounting suggests that the design has a strong early Art Nouveau influence. The pin is gold-filled and it is circa 1885.

Scarce design from Denmark's Hans Hansen, circa 1950s. The sterling silver bangle bracelet holds a dangling amethyst sphere. Bracelet measures just over 2.5" wide and 5/8" at the thickest. Fully marked as shown. Very good vintage condition.

This dramatic necklace is composed of linked panels of various shapes, decorated with applied brass wirework and pink stone beads, possibly untreated tourmaline. The modified figure-eight chain is brass. It dates around 1960, and the design is often attributed to the Mexican jeweler Maya, although there is only a partial mark for Mexico on the back. The necklace measures approximately 18 ½ inches long; the pendant measures 6 ½ inches long by 2 3/4 inches wide.

This 1960s pendant is composed of what appears to be a very thickly molded pewter, roughly finished and suspended from a sturdy cable chain. The back of the pendant bears an unidentified maker’s mark of Å.A. Pendant measures 3 1/8 inches long by 2 5/8 inches wide. The entire necklace, including pendant and chain, drops almost 17 inches; it does not have a clasp.

A vintage hand made pendant in hammered brass with Pre Columbian pottery beads and a central mask. Hammered brass neck ring hooks in two places in the center. There are five dangles on the bottom with stone and ceramic beads and hammered brass disks. Central pendant measures 5" long and 2 7/8" across. Neck ring measures about 22" around. Etched signature on the back, 'Donna Brown'. Reminiscent of the work of Annette Nancarrow and Maya Mexico. Well made, bold design.

This interesting openwork bronze pin is formed as a stylized horse and is based on ancient Nordic design. It has a lacquered finish to preserve the surface color of the bronze. The back has a secure curled C-clasped and the mark of Finnish maker Koravala Koru. The name of Suomussalmi, a region in Finland, is inscribed on the back as well. The pin measures 2 inches long by about 1 ¾ inches high at the ear.

This very Victorian pin is gold fill set with two rose-cut red pastes and one cabochon ‘turquoise’. The pin is 1 ¼" wide with a central ball element that is 3/8" in diameter. Applied circles of wire rope ornament a vertical, rectangular bar. A hollow ball dangles from two chains; another chain connects the pin to the stickpin. These earrings have a Modern American Studio look. They measure 5/8" x 1/2" x 1/4". The graduating, semi-circles exhibit the Studio style. They are c. 1960's and in excellent condition.

A copper cuff with deep patination and a leaf-like design of crimped and scored edges. Bright, convex, circular motifs contrast nicely with the darkened surface, with curled terminals. The cuff is unmarked. It measures 1 ¾ inches wide with an internal circumference of a little over 7 1/2 inches; the gap measures 1 1/8 inches across.

This modernist, Scandinavian pendant is certainly unique: circa 1960. It measures 2 3/8" x 2 3/8". The circle in which the drop hangs has a diameter of 1 1/2". The glass drop is cobalt blue in color. The back of this piece is marked MADE IN DENMARK and signed Bent Larsen Inc DENMARK.

A vintage hand made pendant with an agate like stone held in place by tentacles reminiscent of the work of Carl Tasha or Richard Kaish in bronze or brass.

The pendant measures 2 7/8" long and 1 3/8" at the widest. It has lots of detail. Has a pale grey striated jewel in the center. Not sure if it is agate or art glass.

Currently suspended from a neck ring that measures about 15" around with a secure hook. It could also be worn on a thick chain or cord due to the large bale.

Wide copper band is decorated with an applied brass monkey figure inspired by a Precolumbian motif (see the last photo). It is inset with small pieces of abalone. On one side is a discolored area, of about ½ inch square, left from an old label. As the discoloration is on the side, it is not obvious when the cuff is worn. The bracelet measures 2 ½ inches at its widest part and 2 ½ inches across the opening. It has a 7 ½-inch internal circumference.

This twisted enamel bangle of sterling silver resembles the work of Canadian metalsmiths such as Guy Vidal and John Larin, who produced highly textured designs during the late 1960s and 1970s. This bangle features a ribbed surface on both sides, with alternating pockets of burnt orange and dark maroon enamels, with one pocket left undecorated — possibly for stamping what looks like a mark of some kind on the reverse. This intriguing (and slightly strange!) pair of pins is from the Art Nouveau era. They feature a woman’s face flanked by flowers, and her hair is greenish – just a little scary! We have been unable to determine what the metal is, so assume it’s not precious. They measure 1-1/4” x 1/2”. The pin stem assemblies are old, but they may be replacements. Circa 1900.
