Vintage Spratling era reminding one of Aguilar, et al, hand tooled dense pin brooch with a 6mm green ish turquoise cab simply stamped: MEXICO SILVER. Although could be a higher content - the weight is dense as with many early pre assay jewelry. Early wide C catch. By one of Spratling's or Aguilar's contemporary silversmiths no doubt.

Enrique Ledesma Mexican sterling inlaid pin. A stunning, ultramodern vintage 1950s Mexican sterling silver pin by Enrique Ledesma. This 2-1/8" x 1 1-1/2" modernist pin features what appears to be a rough mixture of azurmalachite inlaid in an undulating silver brooch. It has a rough, naturalistic texture, with small losses revealing malachite below, and it has a safety catch; it is stamped LEDESMA TAXCO 925 with a bell mark...

Shaped as stylized heads, they are hollow cast and pierced for stringing. Faces show on both sides of the beads. One bead has a casting imperfection on one side (see Photo #1); the other side is intact. There are a total of 19 beads; strung together they measure 9 inches long. They are possibly Mexican. These quirky figural sterling silver pins and earrings are formed as separate head. While the faces are similar in their prominent features, one head wears a tall, pointed headdress, while the other wears a turban-like headpiece. The pins show marks on the surface from being hammered into the mold; they are finished with applied backs. Each earring is formed to match the face of one of the pins...

This graceful sterling silver ring is formed as a stylized snake with an impressed band starting at the head and tapering to the tail. The impressed area is nicely oxidized and decorated with contrasting circular elements, one of which serves as the snake's eye. The patina is soft and is nicely enhanced by the oxidation. The inside of the ring bears the partial marks for sterling, Mexico and its maker, the preeminent Taxco workshop of Los Ballesteros. The ring is sized to a 7 scant...

Composed of three outwardly curved hinged panels embossed with scenes of Mexican country life. It is secured by a tongue-and-groove clasp and a security chain. The back of the clasp bears the circular mark of CJB; the maker’s name of Diaz Santoyo is impressed on the tongue in block letters (there is no image of this part of the mark). It is also marked 925 for sterling silver. The bracelet measures 1 3/8 inches wide and has an internal circumference of 7 ¼ inches. Weight: 44 grams

Unusual early repoussed silver and amethyst pin, Mexico,c.1930. Very early, it is a combination of colonial and Taxco silver designs. This bracelet is constructed of six hinged panels designed as leaves and berries, with a fold-over hook clasp. It is marked on the back of the clasp with the Mexican maker’s mark of ETD, which is unidentified. It has a nice warm patina, and two of the berries have very minor impact marks. Designed in the pre-Columbian style, this sterling silver bracelet is composed of curved openwork panels connected with small pins. It bears the mark of J.N. Jacopo, for the Jacopo brothers of Mexico City and Taxco; it also bears the eagle mark with the number 3. The bracelet has a nice, hefty feel and is of good quality.
