Very early (1930-40's) handmade sterling silver creamer and sugar set with tray designed and signed by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). The set weighs 560grms. Designed in the pre-Columbian style, this sterling silver bracelet is composed of curved openwork panels connected with small pins. It bears the mark of J.N. Jacopo, for the Jacopo brothers of Mexico City and Taxco; it also bears the eagle mark with the number 3. The bracelet has a nice, hefty feel and is of good quality. There is a minor area of metal stress at one link (see Photo #4)...

RARE and BEST Salvador Teran necklace I've ever seen and possibly one of a kind. Made in Mexico, c.1952, it is a LARGE pendant of a woman praying wearing a shawl and skirt measuring 2 3/4" long by 1 1/4" wide. She has red arms and a black face, but not sure what those materials are. The linked neckring locks perfectly in place and measures approx. 15 1/4" around. It is signed "SALVADOR STERLING MEXICO 510 (bellmark)36". Can also be worn as a brooch. The modernist design is a true work of art...

This sterling silver ring is a size 7 1/2". It has a nice mod design with its intersecting, bi level sodalite, bezel-set stones. It is marked JR? 925 and STERLING. The band is marked with the Eagle Assay mark for Taxco Mexico. It is in great condition and has a good heft.

This fine brooch can also be worn as a pendant. It features a large/bold green chalcedony, Aztec mask, set in decorative sterling silver. An impressionistic Mexican sterling silver 2-5/8" x 2-1/4" starfish pin c1950s by Beto. This attractive vintage pin features abalone with inlaid malachite/turquoise; it is stamped STERLING HECHO EN MEXICO 925 TAXCO GBC and BETO, and it weighs 9.9 grams. This item is in very good vintage condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, or losses, but there does appear to be a bit of cracking from dryness around the malachite stone on the centre of the brooch...

This band ring is 3/8" wide. It is a size 9. It has a nice oxidized background and patina. It is marked MEXICO MA and has the eagle / assay mark that is hard to make out. This piece is in excellent condition.

This ring is inlaid with Azur-malachite stone. It is a size 8. The stone inlay is very colorful and stands out nicely in its 1/4" sterling silver band. It is marked TAXCO MEXICO 925 (slightly rubbed out) in a circle with LMH in the center. It also has the assay mark with 3 inside and is in excellent condition.

Dramatic large hand made sterling Mayan face/headdress pin by LOS CASTILLO, Mexico, 1942. Measures 3 1/4" by 2 1/4" and signed "LOS CASTILLO TAXCO STERLING MADE IN MEXICO 530". This pin has a barette-type of closure. However, the points are very sharp so is not a barette but rather an alternate type of pin closure. This bracelet is made of six linked stylized flowers alternating with bars decorated with incised circular elements. The flower 'petals' are actually formed as coffee beans. The box clasp is secure, as are the connections between each flower. There is an Iguala/Mexico/925diamond-shaped mark on the back of the clasp with the unidentified maker’s initials, which look like EHP but may actually be EMB according to the third edition of Bille Hougart's book of Mexican maker's marks...

Fine sterling and black enamel cuff links. They measure just under 1" x just under 1" x 1/8". The sterling swirls are a nice accent. The back of each is marked BETO TAXCO and ? in a circle with 925 in the middle. They also have the eagle mark with 3. They have good heft. A tiny piece of the sterling swirl is "pinched." This pin was orginally designed by Mexico artist Frederick Davis in the 1930's. This piece is signed MEXICO SILVER but without the FD mark. Measuring 3 1/2 inches long and 1 1/2 wide. 8 cab amethyst stones guard a large faceted amethyst in the center. Pin back works perfectly. Tiny flea bite in the center stone that can be felt but not seen. No dents, dings or repairs to silver.

This nice link charm bracelet is sterling silver. It is 6 1/2" long. On the back of the box clasp it is marked Jencha (in script), then a decorative line surrounding 0.925, HECHO EN MEXICO with eagle number 29. It's solid and in excellent condition.

This extremely exciting and entertaining piece is circa 1970s. It is slightly convex. The back is marked with the eagle number 20, STERLING. It is also marked HECHO EN MEXICO DF, 925 and a maker's mark that resembles conjoined letters - see pictures. The pin / brooch has a diameter of 1 5/8". This is quite an unusual piece, has good heft and is in excellent condition.

Nice example of the work of Taller Borda designer Gabriel Flores (c.1950)who worked with Hector Aguilar and was allowed to use his own GF hallmark along with Aguilar's eagle # 9 and the Taller Borda hallmark. Face of each link is 1 inch X 1/2 inch wide.

This beautiful, vintage ring is a size 7. The setting is exquisite and set with a cobalt blue, colorful cab with gold specks. The band is marked STERLING MEXICO 925.

These beautifully constructed cuff links have a diameter of 1". They are sterling silver and have a lovely patina (unpolished). They are concave disks with a "fancy" letter "K" in the center. These sterling silver earrings have a great mod, geo design. They are by silversmith Miguel Garcia Martinez, a primary designer for Rancho Alegre, Taxco, Mexico. The turquoise stones are bezel-set in a tear-drop shape that matches the shape of the earrings (which are slightly concave). Both earrings are marked miguel (in script) and 231. They are also hallmarked RANCHO ALEGRE. They dangle 1 1/2" from their screwback closures. They are circa 1960s and are in excellent condition.

Here is a nicely designed, solid pair of Mexican sterling silver earrings. They are decorated with balls and curls around center squares, defined by a subtle patina. They are marked sterling, but bear no maker’s mark; the clip backs are in good working order. They measure about 1 inch square.

This bracelet is constructed of six hinged panels designed as leaves and berries, with a fold-over hook clasp. It is marked on the back of the clasp with the Mexican maker’s mark of ETD, which is unidentified. It has a nice warm patina, and two of the berries have very minor impact marks. The bracelet measures 7 1/4 inches long by 3/4 inch wide. Weight: 34.4 grams

These earrings display a detailed, applied matador and bullfighting (nicer than pictures). Each is marked MEXICO C.F.R .925. They measures 3/4" x 3/4" at widest and longest.

This beautiful, sterling silver bracelet measures just under 7 1/2" long. Each of the 7 links are bezel-set with colorful abalone. They are shaped like upside down triangles, similar to the later, carved, Aztec mask jewelry. Each link is surmounted on the classic Taxco, Mexico square of 4 round beads / balls. The back is marked ANR 925; but, it was stamped in reverse, see pictures. This great piece is circa 1920's to 1940's.

This Mexican sterling tiger eye & serpent pendant has a large honey-colored tiger eye cabochon in the center. This cabocho is bezel mounted. It is hallmarked "POM" in a Taxco 925 Mexico circle with a separate Eagle 1 assay stamp. It is in super fine condition. This pendant is 1 1/2" square. The bail adds 1/2" to the overall length. The tiger eye cabochon is 7/8" in diameter.

Sterling and azur-malachite bracelet by Enrique Ledesma measuring 6 3/4" around in the inside, 3/4" wide, 46 grams. Fine original condition. Signed as shown.( The Ledesma signature is worn but there.) Gorgeous stones fused to the silver in Ledesma's impeccable way.

This ring has a beautiful design and is a size 9. It is large, measuring 1 1/4" (from top to bottom). The band measures 1/4", wrapping around to display its swirly, modernist design. It reminds me of a miniature, wraparound bracelet, as the top and bottom "swirls" are not fused together. It is marked MEXICO and 925. It has good heft and is in excellent condition.

It is always exciting to find an Antonio Pineda shadow box archers cuff, particularly an early piece with the "ZZ" hallmark. It measures 2 3/8" wide and 5 1/4" around in the inside with a 1 1/8" opening.It weighs 133 grams. All original, fine condition, no damage or repairs. Hallmarked as shown. One of his classic designs.

These cuff links measure 3/4" x 3/4" x 1/8". They are sterling silver with a geo wooden inlay. One of the cuff links is marked BETO 925 and TAXCO HECHO EN MEXICO. They have a good heft and are in excellent condition (better than photos).

Torque necklace of sterling and onyx by Sigi Pineda, Mexico, c.1955. Marked "SIGI TASCO HECHO EN MEXICO STERLING (eagle mark) 36 (number is hard to see as it's deeply imbedded, so possibly) 310". This great, large Taxco Mexico mod pendant / brooch measures 3" x 2 1/8". It has a cool geo shape with three dangles. It is sterling silver with inlaid azur-malachite: blues and greens. The back is signed with all hallmarks: STERLING TAXCO, AC, Cecilia in script, HECHO EN MEXICO, Tono in script and numbered 80. This lovely, colorful pendant and/or pin in excellent condition.
