Famous NYC modernist Bill Tendler(1924-1981) made this sterling pin, c.1950's. The pin is signed "TENDLER STERLING" and is in excellent condition. It measures 1 7/8" at the widest point. An interesting pair of sculptural mixed metals pierced earrings by the New York jeweler, Marci Zelmanoff.
These earrings have sterling wire details and sterling shepherd ear wires. Measure 2" long and 5/8" at the widest.
Both earrings are signed Marci Zelmanoff and with some sort of code which looks like 02-Z64. Hard to read.
They are in fine condition. Her pieces are quite rare.
A sterling silver modernist hand wrought cuff bracelet. Measures about 6" around with an additional 7/8" for the gap. Measures 2" at the widest. Marked Sterling and Hand Wrought. Very nice condition with some minor scratches and a little tarnish. Can be worn with the curve facing up or down. Warm patina, heavy layered sterling. Quality piece. Lays nicely on the wrist.
This sterling silver belt buckle by renown modernist Ed Wiener exhibits a strong, clean design, crisply forged with a smooth panel of ebony set within a partial applied frame. The back has a well-soldered rectangular loop and prong with no signs of repair; it bears Ed Wiener's mark and the mark for sterling. There is a nicely aged patina, with random spots of oxidation, and a roughly half-inch shallow incision of unknown origin on the surface (best seen in first and last photos)...

A modernist cast sterling silver pendant in a 'pitchfork' design by noted Mid Century silversmith Christian Schmidt, (1926-1974). Signed with his stylized 'S' hallmark and Sterling. Measures 2 3/8" long and 7/8" across. Three dimensional curved design. Interesting contrast of dark textured patina on the sides and polished surfaces on the top. Would look great on either an neck ring or chain.
Large handmade mixed metals(gold and silver) modernist pin with blue oval chalcedony(1 1/4" by 7/8"), c.1960's. The stone is bezel set off center. The design consists of positive and negative space, as shown with applied dimensional gold and silver geometric pieces versus handcut holes. Pin has substantial weight and measures a VERY LARGE 2 5/8" IN DIAMETER. Very rich with a high level of artistry and original design...
A modernist sterling silver heavy link bracelet signed Gra Wun for the Scottsdale Arizona jeweler Ray Graves. The links slope towards one direction for a three dimensional effect. Measures 8" long and 1/2" across. Has a hook closure which holds securely. Marked Gra Wun and Sterling on the back. His sterling jewelry is hard to find. Well made and fine condition.
A long pitchfork shaped sterling silver brooch by Jean Lasnier. He was a member of the Metal Arts Guild between 1951-64 with many of the well known studio artisans of the Mid Century Modern jewelry movement.
Made of polished sterling with a central textured piece for an interesting contrast. Measures 4" long and 1" across at the widest. Marked Sterling and Lasnier on the back. Has a rollover clasp that holds securely.

A vintage sterling silver hand wrought necklace and matching bracelet with light hammering and angled and curved links. Has connector links made from curved silver with orbs at the ends as seen on pieces by Jack Boyd.
Necklace measures at least 18" long but hard to measure exactly due to the curvature of the links. Signed Sterling. Has a spring closure marked sterling that holds securely.

A vintage sterling silver abstract modernist ring from the shop of Walter Wright, a Los Angeles jeweler. Wright was an associate of Margaret De Patta and sold her work and other modernist jewelry. A five sided central design with three dimensional circles and bars coming off a blackened background. Approximately a size 10. Marked Walter Wright Sterling. Has some tarnish, a few scratches on the back of the band and a little wear to the black. Great example of mid-century modern studio jewelry.

A modernist brooch by noted mid century silversmith, Frances Holmes Boothby.
This brooch measures 1 5/8" tall and 1 1/4" across the bottom. Has a textured inlay of multicolored enamel. There is a sterling inlay in the center of the enamel for an interesting contrast. Marked with fhb and Sterling on the back. Has a safety rollover clasp that holds securely.
Has a few minor scratches, some tarnish and one nick to the side that touches both the edge and the side of the bezel...
A vintage sterling silver neck ring with a prong set Boulder Opal by American Modernist jeweler, Ronald Hayes Pearson. The smooth sterling surface is contrasted with a textured edge.
This neck ring measures about 12" around the inside with an opening of 3". Can be adjusted slightly. Signed Pearson Sterling. In very nice condition with minor surface scratches.
