Evoking a sophisticated and cosmopolitan look, this Italian silver bracelet features five textured curved rings linked by bars inlaid with strips of turquoise enamel. The secure fold-over clasp bears marks for .800 silver and the city/date mark of Arezzo, 1944-1968. The maker’s numeric mark is not fully legible. A vintage sterling silver pendant with a teardrop Australian opal cabochon on a lightly hand hammered link chain. Pendant measures 2" long and 1" across. Chain measures about 20" long. Double hook closure. Has some minor areas of tarnish. Nice work by a talented artisan.

An abstract sterling silver brooch by Modernist NYC Silversmith, Henry Steig. May be a stylized leaf or feather. Measures 2" long and 1" at the widest. Signed on the back Steig Sterling. Rollover safety clasp holds securely. There is an area along the darkened edge that is textured, not sure if that is original or wear. Nice contrast of polished and darkened sterling. Interesting three dimensional feel.

This unusual bracelet is cleverly hand-built from cast circular elements, each riveted to the next. The rivets allow the circular pieces to move as on a hinge, and each is connected at an angle to accommodate a comfortable fit on the wrist. The box clasp is sturdy and secure, with a figure-eight safety catch. Although the circular elements are hollow, the bracelet has a good heft and has a Constructivist aesthetic. It is probably from the 1970s. The clasp is marked 925 for sterling silver...

A vintage hand wrought sterling silver brooch from the American Studio Modernist jeweler, John Lewis. Made up of multiple layers and textures.

Measures about 1 1/4" across and 1 1/2" high. Heavy and substantial. Can be worn with the pin going up and down or across. Marked Sterling and with the crossed JL mark of the artist. Also has the ® mark.

Very nice condition, has an interesting contrast of polished and darkened patinas...

An iconic brooch in sterling silver by Frank Miraglia, the 'Happy Fish' design.

Sterling silver with a sterling squiggle overlay. Has a bezel set art glass eye. Even has some slits for gills.

Measures 2 1/4" tall and 2 1/4" across. Signed F. Miraglia N.Y. Sterling. Has a rollover clasp that holds securely. Has some of tarnish and surface scratches. There are a few nicks to the overlay near the tail.

Neck ring measures about 15" around. Hook closure holds securely. Neck ring is also marked sterling. Both pieces have a dark patina. Pendant would also look great on a thick chain. Wonderfully crafted and fine quality.

One-of-a-kind hand made crystal and sterling modernist signed ring by Catanzaro, c.1960's. She passed away last year. Signed "CATANZARO", the triangular-shaped crystal measures 7/8" by 3/4" by 7/8". Two modernist sterling silver hand wrought brooches by Lore Garrick, (1920-2013) in organic free flowing styles. Lore Garrick made hand crafted jewelry in NYC in the 1950s. Known as 'Mother Lore' because her son became Tamal Krishna Goswami, she made the first pieces of jewelry for the Hare Krishna movement in Los Angeles.

Made by JO CATANZARO, deceased modernist jeweler from Buffalo NY, c.1950's. This piece is part of the collection that was purchased from her studio after her death in 2004. Measures 2 7/8" by 2". A thin bangle with textured surface is set with four faceted natural rubies. They are bezel mounted with open backs, securely soldered to the bangle. The rubies are highly included and probably untreated; one has slight surface abrasions. The bangle has a 2 ½-inch internal diameter, and an inner circumference of about 8 inches. Each setting measures about ½ inch by 3/8 inch. The bangle is 1/16 inch wide. It is marked 925 for sterling silver.
