The top of this sterling silver modernist ring appears to be made of hand-cast drip-like elements that are incised and polished. It is attached to the flattened band on a short pedestal so that the top rises about 3/16 of an inch about the band. The inside of the band is marked Handmade Sterling and bears the impressed mark of G:son Liedholm, which may indicate Magnus Liedholm, a Swedish maker. The ring is sized at 7 1/4. Weight: 9.6 grams

Unmarked unsigned tested sterling silver pendant necklace with old spring ring closure. Unsigned maybe Arts Crafts or Art Deco era, yet mostly hand made in the Modernism and Arts Crafts tradition. The hand wrought "cage like" pendant holds a 9mm undrilled jade jadeite or nephrite orb then ends with a chain tassel for a total of 1.5".
The 17" chain ends in a pesky old style spring ring clasp that is marked sterling. Needs a good polishing...

This wonderfully unique pin, c. 1950’s, is by Perli Werkstatt of Germany. It is skillfully handcrafted with its crater design and organic texture. It is signed “Perli 800” and something else I cannot make out. Its diameter is 1 1/4”. It’s in excellent condition.

This sterling silver and enamel bracelet has a Scandinavian feel but no definitive marks. It has five curved panels decorated with abstract sterling designs that are probably raised and surrounded by dotted white enamel. The enamel is in beautiful condition, and the tongue-and-groove clasp is in very good working order. The clasp is marked S.G.M. and sterling. The bracelet measures a little over 6 inches long by 1/2 inch wide.

Composed of a curving piece of forged wire, these earrings evoke a feeling of graceful movement. Each wire design is attached to a constrasting static teardrop-shaped top. Featuring bridge-like connectors and open rectangular links, this 1960s sterling silver link bracelet features an abstract design characterized by both lightness and visual heft. Modernist enamel fish by Madeline Turner, c.1940's, who studied enameling with Karl Drerup. She also designed for Tiffany and Georg Jensen,USA. The rectangular panel of this silver pin has interesting, different textures on back and front. The panel is curved and scalloped along the top and bottom edges with tiny beads and blocks in the mold, creating a quite complex design. The cabochon chrysoprase is prong set above a circular opening, bisected with a flattened silver rod. The rollover clasp is secure; the back of the pin indicates .835 silver. The pin measures 1 ¾ inches long (including the rod) and 1 1/8 inches wide.

This complex bracelet has an almost glitzy appearance that belies its artistry, but gives it a formal look. It is composed of cast rectangular links of two sizes, alternating with organic, anemone-like elements; it looks to have been made from lost-wax casting. It features an iridescent finish that gives it a pinkish tone in some places; on one of the end links, the finishing process has left a darkened area...

A very nice modernist silverplate over copper tie bar decorated with a design of coiled silver wire by studio jewelers Morley & Kim Crimi. This use of coiled wire is characteristic of the maker, who more frequently worked in copper than in silver. The back is marked “Morley-Crimi Hand Wrought”.

Here is a bold, mid-century modernist money clip. It's composed of a flexible but sturdy forged-wire frame, with an applied mounted piece of rosewood in a trapezoidal shape. A silver half-bead is applied to a crossbar near the top. The wood has a polished surface and shows no damage or cracking. The clip is unmarked, but tests as sterling. It measures 2 ½ inches long by ¾ inch wide.

This dramatic handmade sterling silver ring is entirely hollow-cast, for comfortable wear. It is entirely one piece, and displays a patina that indicates it is probably 20 to 30 years old. It is marked 925 underneath, with an unidentified maker’s mark that looks like an M. The slightly concave top measures 1 5/8 inches long by 1 ¼ inches wide by 3/16 inch or so deep. The amethyst is securely prong set. The back of the pendant and the bail exhibit a 925 in a cartouche with the words ‘Industria Argentina,’ which roughly translated means Made in Argentina.
