An iconic brooch in sterling silver by Frank Miraglia, the 'Happy Fish' design.

Sterling silver with a sterling squiggle overlay. Has a bezel set art glass eye. Even has some slits for gills.

Measures 2 1/4" tall and 2 1/4" across. Signed F. Miraglia N.Y. Sterling. Has a rollover clasp that holds securely. Has some of tarnish and surface scratches. There are a few nicks to the overlay near the tail.

A fine, unusual sterling silver and pearl two layered brooch in an abstract design. Inside layer has a darkened patina. Has three small pearls attached to the inside. Curved three dimensional design. Measures 2 3/8" across and 1" wide. Has a rollover clasp that holds securely. Has a cutout mark on the back that may indicate the maker, but we do not recognize it. Has a little tarnish. Well constructed, interesting design.

Signed textural 800 silver and coral beads pin having a late arts & crafts/early modernist design sense, Germany, c.1940's. Handmade, it measures 1 3/4" long by 7/8" wide. A well crafted sterling silver three dimensional pendant with a lapis cabochon. This pendant is suspended from a 28" long sterling chain meant to be slipped over the head. Pendant measures 2" long and 1 1/2" across. Bezel set stone measures 1/2" long and 3/8" across. Has some tarnish and minor surface scratches. Interesting layered design.

Two modernist sterling silver hand wrought brooches by Lore Garrick, (1920-2013) in organic free flowing styles. Lore Garrick made hand crafted jewelry in NYC in the 1950s. Known as 'Mother Lore' because her son became Tamal Krishna Goswami, she made the first pieces of jewelry for the Hare Krishna movement in Los Angeles.

The first brooch is constructed of two layers of sterling with different angles. Measures 3 1/4" long. Has a secure rollover clasp. Marked LORE Sterling...

A sterling silver modernist brooch by noted Mid Century jeweler, Caroline Gleick Rosene. This brooch is made from three thick squared off sterling wires attached to a small triangular piece of sterling. Marked Sterling Rosene on the back. Measures 2 1/4" across and 7/8" at the widest. Rollover safety clasp holds securely. Great example of Mid Century studio jewelry.

A thin bangle with textured surface is set with four faceted natural rubies. They are bezel mounted with open backs, securely soldered to the bangle. The rubies are highly included and probably untreated; one has slight surface abrasions. The bangle has a 2 ½-inch internal diameter, and an inner circumference of about 8 inches. Each setting measures about ½ inch by 3/8 inch. The bangle is 1/16 inch wide. It is marked 925 for sterling silver.

Unusual sterling ring featuring a gemstone quality tiger-eye, which shows incredible fire and graining. The impressive setting holds the large stone, which measures 1 6/8" x 1", high above the finger. Signed "Pinegem Sterling." Approximately size 7. Very good vintage condition with a few minor scuffs to the stone which are only noticeable upon close inspection.

Handmade sterling and turquoises pin with retro/modernist design by Maurice, possibly French, c.1960's. Quite large and made of heavy gauge silver, it measures 4" long by 2" wide. The design is a retro floral bow, but, is executed in modernist style. It is signed "MAURICE STERLING" and is in excellent condition. Has an interesting texture which is slightly gold in color. A vintage hand made necklace and earrings set in sterling silver with teal blue enamel and what looks like a central fresh water pearl. Seven sterling shields with teal blue enamel suspended from a sterling necklace made of knotted links. Signed Carlisle Sterling on the back. Measures 16" long and closes with a secure spring clasp. Clasp is also marked sterling. Matching pierced earrings measure 1 5/8" long and 1/2" at the widest. Earring backs are marked 925...

A vintage hammered sterling silver circles necklace by the American Studio Modernist jeweler, John Lewis. This is signed with Sterling and the crossed JL of the artist.

Great hammered texture, circles are all about 7/8" in this example. Measures about 23 1/2" long. Closes with a secure hook clasp.

Fine condition, has some minor scratches and darkened patina. Nice hand wrought feel. Weighs about 31 Gr. We believe this may be the heavier example.

Classic John Lewis design.

A mid century modernist three dimensional sterling silver brooch in the shape of an abstract cello. Very similar to the iconic Paul Lobel design. Unsigned.

Measures 3 1/4" long and 1 1/8" at the widest. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. Well constructed. Has some minor surface scratches and some tarnish.

Fine design.

Of modernist design, both cast and hand-forged and composed of two flat sides terminating in hollowed ends, one with a protruding side. The tongue-and-groove clasp is in good working order. The bracelet exhibits some signs of wear, such as scratches and tiny dings to the edges. The very tip of the protrusion has a tiny dent. There are two different marks on the outer side (one is struck twice) that look to be foreign but are unidentified...

A vintage hand wrought brooch of lightly hammered sterling silver with a pearl bead by MCM studio jeweler, Toni Catanzaro. Looks like an abstract bird. Measures 2 1/2" across and 1 3/4" high. Has a rollover clasp that holds securely. Marked Toni Catanzaro on the back. You can see the light hammering on the flattened surfaces. Has some tarnish and light surface scratches. Fine example of her work.

A vintage hand wrought Modernist sterling pendant and neck ring with a large turquoise stone. Pendant measures 3 1/2" long including the bale and 1 3/4" across. Marked sterling on the back. Neck ring measures about 15" around. Hook closure holds securely. Neck ring is also marked sterling. Both pieces have a dark patina. Pendant would also look great on a thick chain. Wonderfully crafted and fine quality.

One-of-a-kind hand made crystal and sterling modernist signed ring by Catanzaro, c.1960's. She passed away last year. Signed "CATANZARO", the triangular-shaped crystal measures 7/8" by 3/4" by 7/8". The band is 3/4" wide and the ring is size is 8 3/4. Great looking and in excellent condition.....$10 for insured USA shipping.
