Amazing vintage Antonio Pineda Mexico necklace featuring a silver and onyx layered pendant on a thick black silk velvet cord, with matching silver balls on the ends of the cord. Circa 1950 or 1960. Marked with the crown shaped Antonio Taxco mark, also marked HECHO EN MEXICO, 970, design letters/numbers YY 634, and with the eagle assay mark. It weighs 52 grams. The pendant slides along the cord, which is very soft and drapes beautifully once tied, with the weight of the silver balls on the ends...

A vintage hand wrought sterling silver brooch from the American Studio Modernist jeweler, John Lewis. Made up of multiple layers and textures.

Measures about 1 1/4" across and 1 1/2" high. Heavy and substantial. Can be worn with the pin going up and down or across. Marked Sterling and with the crossed JL mark of the artist. Also has the ® mark.

Bearing the signature of Pedro Castillo this bracelet is, for me, a fusion of classic Taxco "arhaeological" as well as modernist elements. The overlay is immaculately crafted - one would never expect less from a Castillo - and the design lends itself to several readings...

Circa mid-century, this bracelet was produced by Los Castillo. It's a hand-wrought piece with a large presence, composed of four curved sections. There are three pendant/dangles/pendulums attached to the center section, and each panel is separated by three spiral circles with oxidized recesses. Closure is a tight and secure tongue in box. Measures a closed, wearable length of about 6 1/4"...

This ladies circular plaid pin with cairngorn stone is 1 7/8" in diameter. Excellent condition.

There are no hallmarks on the pin bit it has been tested silver. The pin has a c-clasp in working condition but it may not be original.

A vintage modernist 800 Silver buckle with a brutalist design. Signed on the back with the studio artist's initials, 'RA' and 800.

Designed in the pre-Columbian style, this sterling silver bracelet is composed of curved openwork panels connected with small pins. It bears the mark of J.N. Jacopo, for the Jacopo brothers of Mexico City and Taxco; it also bears the eagle mark with the number 3. The bracelet has a nice, hefty feel and is of good quality. There is a minor area of metal stress at one link (see Photo #4)...

This delicate, charming silver gilt bar pin features lavender guilloche enamel work surrounded by a thin border of black enamel and a milligrain-like textured edge. Three circles of white enamel grace each end of the pin. The pin bears the mark of Marius Hammer, Bergen, Norway (1847-1927), and dates to the early 20th century. The original C-clasp has been expertly replaced; the piece retains its original pin stem. It measures 1 5/8 inches long by a little over ¼ inch wide at the center.

Hand made silver and cornelian modernist pin/pendant, possibly Israeli, c.1960's. Large and of good weight, this abstract design, measures 3" long by 1 1/2" wide. It is signed with a partial mark on the loop that seems to be Israeli. When worn with a chain, it is worn vertically, and, horizontally, when worn as a pin. The cornelian is bezel set. This pre-1948 bracelet is a Fred Davis design, here hallmarked simply "Mexico Silver". Composed of six large silver panels, each set with a large amethyst cabochon, this bracelet measures a closed, wearable length of 7 1/2" with a width of 1 3/8". Weight is 67.7 grams. Antonio's jewelry, no matter how many elements combined in a design, if unfailingly sculptural and shamelessly tactile. It is very difficult to restrain oneself and not keep passing one's fingers over the masterfully worked, perfectly finished silver...

This sterling silver bracelet is decorated with Francisco Rebajes’ signature leaves. Each leaf serves as a link to the alternating square panels. The brushed surface shows some tarnish, but hardly any signs of wear. The tongue-and-groove clasp is very secure, with the Rebajes and silver marks impressed on the top.
