Early vintage Mexico sterling bracelet with fabulous graphic impact. Circa 1940, made before the eagle assay mark was introduced in 1948. Marked R. RIVERA, 925 SILVER, and TAXCO in a cartouche. These marks are listed on page 56 of "The Little Book of Mexican Silver Trade and Hallmarks" by Bille Hougart. This sterling stork has a curly tail, leaves for feet and angel like wings. The body is a very large kite shaped reversed carved blue rhinestone. All of this in a sterling setting. Notice that this stork has a blue rhinestone for his beak. It is hallmarked "sterling" on the back. Excellent condition. It measures 3 1/2" x 2 2/3" .

A pair of vintage brooches from the American Studio Modernist jeweler, John Lewis, one in the shape of a 6 pointed star and the other a whale. Great hammered textures.

The whale measures 3 1/8" long and 5/8" wide. The star measures 1 3/8" across and 1 1/4" high.

Both are marked Sterling and with the crossed JL mark of the artist. The clasps hold securely. They are in fine condition with some minor scratches. Warm patina.

This substantial necklace is composed of sterling silver cable chain decorated with applied, loose rings of twisted sterling wire. Each chain link has two rings attached to it, completing a sophisticated and intelligent design that evokes flexibility and movement. Gorgeous deep red Mediterranean coral tear drop stones and center pearl in this sterling ring by Arizona Modernist H. Fred Skaggs. It is a size 6 and sits about 3/4" high from the finger when on. Weighing 10 grams, it is in fine original condition and signed as shown. His work is increasingly harder to find since it is highly collected. A spectacular ring.

Has two curved and flattened links and a central longer piece with a cultured pearl nested in the center. The links are connected by curved bars with orbs at each end.
