Wonderful 14k gold ring constructed around a 19th century shell cameo by ED WIENER, NYC, c.1960. Made of very heavy gauge gold(weighs 10dwt=1/2 troy oz.), it is size 7. A matching 18k yellow gold rubies pearl and blue enamel necklace and brooch set circa 1960s by Uno-A-Erre. This set consists of the 1-1/4" across brooch with a safety catch and the 17-3/4" lavaliere type necklace with a satin finish clasp (the clasp is the same design as used for pearl necklaces). Each piece has cobalt enamelled flower petals with central genuine claw-set rubies, and there are a few random spots with a soft pink enamel around the leaves...

A rare pair of 18K yellow gold earclips in the Sputnik style. The domes are bezel-set with round amethysts, citrines, aquamarines, and green and pink tourmalines. This design was created in the 1950s to highlight the range of colored gemstones available from the mines of Stern's native Brazil. It later came to be called "Sputnik" for its resemblance to the spiky Soviet satellite launched in 1957...

This 1920-s style 18Kt white gold beauty of an engagement ring is centered by a 1.05Ct brilliant cut non certified diamond that has G color and SI2 clarity. The center stone is flanked on either side by seven smaller brilliant cut diamonds. The total weight of all diamonds is 1.23Ct. The ring is accompanied by a complimenting matching band that is set with 16 full cut diamonds with the total weight of 0.19Ct. The ring and the band are size 7 ½ and can easily be sized.

Our C1790 ring is an 18th century glass intaglio of an ancient signed gem depicting the head of a laughing satyr, or faun (a young satyr). Such carvings were called Tassies (explained further down). "Gems" in this case refers not to precious stones, but to ancient classical Greek carvings, highly valued miniature works of art. Our glass intaglio is signed in Greek for Ammonioy, meaning "by Ammonios"...

Very early sterling compact designed by HARALD NIELSEN(1892-1977) for GEORG JENSEN, Denmark, c.1920. Has decorative applied silver dolphin at top center. Empty on the inside so can be used as a pill box, it measures 2 1/2" in diameter by 1/2" thick. Beautifully signed "HN GEORG JENSEN(in dotted circle with crown) STERLING DENMARK GI925S(in dotted oval) 160A", it is in very good condition with a slight dent at top. Breath-taking both in proportions and its masterfully executed repoussage this sterling silver Mexican Deco belt buckle is simply unbelievable. Its two mirrored parts represent Quetzalcoatl, the divine Moesoamerican Feathered Serpent, a motif which appears quite often in vintage Mexican silver jewelry...

This is a heavy necklace with carnelian and a blue glass embellishment (three are missing as well as one small bottom dangle). The center stone shows some wear ( see photo). The chain, a replacement but identical to the original, measures 30", the pendant 3" x 4". Purchased in Africa during the 70's, the age is unknown.
