A lightly hammered sterling silver bangle bracelet signed by the artist, Walter Tofel of Bennington, Vermont. Tofel was the manager at the Ed Levin store in Bennington in 1970 where he learned his craft. He began making his own jewelry designs which he sold at craft fairs and later out of his home.

This bracelet has lightly hammered curved sides and flatten areas. It is oval so can easily be slipped on and off.

A 14k black onyx butterfly filigree ring set with an emerald cut black onyx stone circa 1960s. The ornate design was popular in the late 1960s to early 1970s, like paisley. This size 6-1/4 or 6.25 ring is stamped Pc and 14 K. The filigree on each side of the ring has a butterfly-like dimension to the design...

This ring is inlaid with Azur-malachite stone. It is a size 8. The stone inlay is very colorful and stands out nicely in its 1/4" sterling silver band. It is marked TAXCO MEXICO 925 (slightly rubbed out) in a circle with LMH in the center. It also has the assay mark with 3 inside and is in excellent condition.

An organic mid century modern ring by the American studio jeweler, Paul Miller. This ring, executed in sterling silver with an Opal cabochon, is currently a size 8 1/2 and can be adjusted up or down because of the open back. Marked Paul Miller, Sterling on the inside. Opal measures 5/8" long and 3/8" across. Has a little tarnish and a few minor surface scratches. Very fine example of his work.

This mid-century bracelet was produced by Antonio Pineda. It's a superb piece with a sleek modernist design, a mirror-like finish, and ten gorgeous oval amethyst cabochons. It's a bracelet which works equally well with dressy or casual wear. The amethyst gemstones are bezel-set at the center of thick square silver panels in such a way as to appear to float...

A fabulous pair of 18K yellow gold Sputnik DANGLE earrings by H Stern. The spheres are bezel-set with round amethysts, citrines, aquamarines, peridots, green tourmalines, pink tourmalines and garnets. The Sputnik design was created in the 1950s to highlight the range of colored gemstones available from Stern's Brazilian mines. It later came to be called "Sputnik" for its resemblance to the spiky Soviet satellite launched in 1957...

Stunning and rare, especially in its use of the specific stone, this vintage Mexican silver necklace features a combination pin / pendant signed by Taxco's foremost lapidary, Felipe Martinez, and a substantial chain from the same period which I believe might be by the same maestro as it bears an Eagle assay mark that Martinez used. And yes, the superbly carved "mask" is teased out of tiger's eye stone though a more unusual kind that it often referred to as "hawk's" or "falcon's eye"...

14K yellow and rose gold bookchain necklace, Victorian, circa 1880. The elaborate construction of the large links in both yellow and rose gold, combined with the intricate Etruscan beadwork-- all in perfect condition-- gives this necklace an amazing texture. This is a Platinum Diamond Engagement Ring from a Maryland Estate. Center ~ major Diamond is .48/100 Carat, Modern Brilliant Cut, VS2 SI1 clarity, GH color. There are another 20 Diamonds Accenting the center stone adding another 1/3 Carat of gems; therefore .78 Carats tdw. Beautiful Ring

A handsome pair of silver double-sided cufflinks in the form of horseshoes. The faces are nicely detailed and the cufflinks have good weight. The connectors are marked "935", indicating a purity slightly higher than sterling silver, and also have an unidentified maker's mark "MV."

This unsigned heart pin is 2 3/4" tall by 2 1/2" wide. It is in excellent vintage condition. The center stone shows some yellowing. All of the other stones are brilliant in color.

Victorian gold pendant, carefully wrought to resemble a gnarled piece of wood - an example of the naturalistic style often seen in jewelry of the 1860's and 70's.
