Banded agate is a form of quartz with parallel bands of black and white resulting from mineral deposits layering over time, thus the term “banded.” The carved scrolls along the sides are a distinctly Victorian feature, often seen on gold bands during this period and they help to date the ring...
A very fine 14K yellow gold Art Nouveau locket, the cover decorated with a beautifully detailed depiction of the Viking god Odin, father of all gods and men. He is traditionally depicted wearing a helmet enhanced with horns and feathered wings. The locket retains its original glass insert. The back was never monogrammed. Tested and guaranteed 14K.

A great example of Finland Modernist jewelry from the 1960s, a large kinetic pendant made of bronze in a puzzle design by Pentti Sarpaneva. This has 5 interlocking puzzle pieces and a dangling ball.
Pendant measures 2 1/4" across and 5 3/4" to the top of the bale. Chain measures 18" long and has a hook closure.
Marked Finland, Bronze and P. Sarpaneva on the back of all the puzzle pieces.

Dainty and lovely, this enamel, pearl, and sapphire Art Nouveau stickpin is 14k gold and just plain beautiful.
The pin is set with seed pearls and a faceted sapphire and the enamel shades from pink to green.
The head of the pin is 1/2" and the pin itself 2" in length. Comes with a clutch to protect the end. [No matter how lovely the stickpin, it's bad if you stab yourself!] Circa 1900.

Marked with ICO for the maker, Crown mark for Sweden, Z8 for 1950, Town mark for Stockholm, and the Silver Standard mark for Sweden. Measures about 7 1/4" long and 1/2" wide. Hook clasp holds securely. Fine condition, quality piece.
An extremely attractive pair of 14K white gold cufflinks by Carrington. Each round face is set with a mother-of-pearl disc engraved in a laurel wreath pattern, surrounding a center round diamond and bordered with 24 rose cut diamonds. The diamonds are very good quality, graded as I/J color and SI2 clarity. The faces are attached by chains to heavy torpedo backs. The back of each face is stamped with Carrington’s hallmark.

Very nice Art Nouveau 10K yellow gold stickpin in the form of a lady’s head. A 4-pt. old mine-cut diamond of very good quality is set at the end of her trailing hair. The surface of the gold has the “bloomed” texture characteristic of Art Nouveau jewelry.
