A very well executed oil on canvas coastal landscape painting, square shape at 23 1/4" by 23 1/4" (28 3/4" by 28 3/4" in cream-color laminated framing), the scene a traditional picturesque small fishing craft of Southeast Asian waters, with several figures and distant craft loosely suggested, the work signed at lower right with what appears as "Sobinto". When I first saw this abstracted figure drawing I was half expecting to see the "Moore" signature, thinking this a dead ringer for the work of famous English modern artist Henry Moore (1898-1986). Measuring 8" by 6", 13 1/4" by 10 1/4" including the gray mat and silver metal frame, the piece is signed "Saibra" at lower right, or, possibly (less likely), "Sailera"...

African (possibly, west African) wood carving of a face with decorative motifs, two eye holes, extreme dimensions 23 1/2" by 4" by 3", hand painted and carved out of one block of wood. It has some age. An interesting work for a long narrow space that needs some decoration.

An original gallery poster from Old Town Circle Gallery, San Diego, for a September/October 1981 exhibition of the works of the artist, YAACOV AGAM (1928-). The watercolor is unsigned, 6" by 8 1/2", 10" by 13" as simply framed, the scene tall forest trees and distant mountains; there is either a stream or pathway in the foreground. I'd think it has some age, but probably not before about 1970. The artist was talented, and this will decorate a small wall nicely.
