It is in fair condition, with soiling, stretcher bar show-through/uneven canvas, and two very small punctures at sky on right in a cloud at a few inches above the signature. If you like the painting you could hang it as-is, or you could invest money to fix it up.

Circa first third of the 20th century, or maybe earlier, very colorful watercolor on paper of a busy street scene in Napoli (Naples, southern Italy), 22 1/2" by 12 1/2" framed, signed at lower left by artist G. CANO. I count at least 10 figures in the composition, and one burro, complementing the hanging laundry, flowers, and ancient facades. Oil on canvas laid on board painting of the Grand Canyon, 17" by 21" (20" by 24" as framed), apparently unsigned, circa 1940's, possibly earlier, executed in a naive manner that borders on or crosses the line to folk art. I think the technique is intentionally naive and primitive, as opposed to just the less-refined work of an amateur artist. The frame (see close-up) adds to the folk art aspects. This is a fine addition to your Southwest or Southwest folk art collection.
