A vintage watercolor of a Native American warrior seen in profile as he draws his arrow to hunt prey outside of the picture to the right. The work measures 13 1/2" by 10 1/2" inside the mat and 19 1/4" by 15" framed (no glass). The work is unsigned. There are some old watercolor stains at lower right which seem to blend into the imagery. There is some abrasion showing as whitish area trailing vertically down from mid-arm at right. A restorer could take care of this or purchaser can carefull...

A beautifully painted portrait miniature by William Naish, done in watercolor on natural wafer. The sitter is a nice-looking gentleman with brown eyes and powdered hair with a pigtail. He is attired in a blue jacket, a white ruffled shirt, an elaborately tied white scarf, all highlighted with a slash of brilliant red. The case is copper, of very high quality, of the type with side pins holding together the front and back. The reverse of the case has a glazed aperture containing a plait of hair.
