Oil on board painting of colorful flowers in a blue ceramic vessel on a tabletop, 20" by 26" (26 1/2" by 32 1/2" as framed), apparently unsigned, the work dating to probably the years around 1930. There is an old crack at upper right as shown, not especially visible to the casual viewer, and I note some flaking and unstable paint in the lower 1/4 of the painting (see bright yellow underpaint showing through----ask for more detailed photos of this).

An original black ink drawing of a Native American Indian stalking a herd of bison. He hides behind a bush, his bow resting behind him, his fringed arrow quiver at the ready. The drawing is nearly square, at 9 1/2" by 9 1/4" (14 1/4" by 14 1/4" in black simple framing). There is a Reno, Nevada framer's label remaining on the backing, but no other information. I have been unable to match the name to a listed artist. Allow for reflections in a few images.

Large acrylic on canvas contemporary painting, 56" by 48", unframed, titled on reverse "St. Sebastian", also dated 3/81 and signed there, by the well listed, widely-exhibited American artist, RUSS WARREN (1951-). The painting is striking, the figure shot full with arrows in a strange and surreal, magical landscape, mystery and symbolism and allegory surrounding the scene...

Mixed media painting. Unframed dimensions: 22x 30.” Framed dimensions: 28x 36.” The French Artist Françoise Sylvand is known for bold paintings, which is apparent in this piece from 1987. This painting was done with acrylic and utilized mica to create the texture in the water. This artwork was done from the artist’s studio in France. He has shown all over France and Europe.

Contemporary unframed American painting (24" by 36"), the subject a middle-aged man, seated, superimposed on a complex patterned background, signed at lower right corner "Tayler". I have been unable to link this to a known artist, but the painting is quite edgy and advanced, and technically skilled, reminding of the work of known artists who paint in what I imagine might be called the "Contemporary Realism" style. I am reminded a bit of David Hockney...

Original signed nude sketch by Sabina Teichman (American, 1905-1983) in fine condition, offered framed. This drawing measures roughly 15" by 10" and is signed l.l. Sabina Teichman is extremely well listed, exhibited, and represented in museum collections.

Attractive old antique print titled "Public landing. Cincinnati", identified by writing on backing as having come from Ballou's Pictorial Companion, 1855. measuring 11" by 15" in its old dark (probably stained walnut) frame with gold fillet. Condition appears fresh and excellent overall. The coloring is hand-applied. An interesting addition to your historic Ohio River or Cincinnati home or office.

An absolutely charming painting, done in watercolor and gouache on organic wafer, of a male toddler. A label on the reverse states "J.C. Holt/at 1 yr./1831".

Housed in its original gold case, neither the painting or the case have any condition problems at all. The size is 1 3/4" by 1 1/2".

American circa 1910 or at least early twentieth century pastel on paper drawing of grapes, apples and a banana, 17" by 20 3/4" framed in an oval, unsigned. The work is typical of pastel still life of the period, though I do not believe it by the "Chandler" workshop. Modest homes of the period were lucky to have an original work of art rather than a print. This one has survived in very good condition...
