Circa 1940 watercolor landscape painting, 11 1/4" by 15 1/4", 19" by 22 1/2" framed (no glass), signed at lower left by artist Edith Ovaitt. Edith appears to have been a talented amateur artist. An internet search reveals a woman by that name born in 1893 or 1898, living in Flint, Michigan at the time of the 1930 census. That Edith Ovaitt died in 1969. Ovaitt is apparently a fairly common name in that area. The watercolor's blue dominating color is very soothing and the work is clean...
Mortimer Menpes, English, 1860-1938, "Interior of St Maclou, Rouen". This etching by Mortimer Menpes measures 12 3/8 x 6 3/8 inches, pencil signed, c. 1902, edition of 50, looking towards the Gothic Baldachin. Menpes attended the School of Art in London in 1878 and started exhibiting at the Royal Academy in 1880. He became a major figure in the etching revival, producing more than seven hundred different etchings and drypoints, which he usually printed himself.

Blondin was active in Paris in the post war years, painting and creating very popular editions of prints which he numbered and hand signed...
Original late 1960's lithographic poster, "115 Bank Street", by the famed modern artist ALEXANDER CALDER (1898-1976), printed by Mourlot. The piece measures 28" by 21" in orange metal framing (not examined out of frame). It is in acceptable decorative condition, the colors bright, but due to past moisture exposure, there is a vertical rippling pattern and in the lower three inches, there is some water staining, as shown in the photos. Very well crafted patinated bronze figure of matador. Depicting figures of a bull and matador, from late 19th/early 20th century, marked "Masier". Raised on a 1.25" marble base, figure height is 8 inches with length of 11 inches, no condition issues noted.
Very antique drawing of a building, maybe a hotel/drinking establishment combination, large for its time and place, dominating a street scene filled with a number of tiny yet interesting figures, including a drummer at right; two horses; and even a dog. This work, apparently unsigned, measures 9 1/4" by 13 3/8". The artist used a soft paper and some kind of gouache or tempera, which allowed him to show fine detail, as well as a light pastel touch in the sky...
