Oil on canvasboard painting of the famous Place du Tertre view of Sacre Coeur church in Paris' Montmartre district, measuring 20" by 16" (24" by 19 3/4" framed). Although the work is stamped "All Reproduction Rights Are Reserved By The Artist", there does not appear to be a signature. On a piece of old tape affixed to the back is the name "J Bush 9/20" but I suspect this may be unrelated to the artist...
A Southwest watercolor on paper painting of fanciful characterizations of a Latino heritage boy and girl, signed at lower right by noted Tucson, Arizona artist GERRY PEIRCE (1900-1969). The work, which measures 14" by 20" (20" by 26" framed) reminds ever so slightly of works by Southwestern noted artist Ted DeGrazia, who Peirce would have no doubt known. Peirce is likely best known for his delicate etchings, but he also painted landscapes and other subject matter...

He painted mainly French Quarter scenes but also on occasion works such as bayou swamp landscape...
A circa 1925 ORIGINAL PAINTING, not a print, with title "Oriental Antiques", no signature, but with old Massachusetts Normal Art School partial label on reverse, the piece measuring 22 3/4" by 16 3/4 in its original charming period blue and reddish-painted framing. The word "COELEBS" at bottom does not seem to pertain to anything. This may be a work by art students training in the use of watercolor and gouache. It was found in a Laguna Beach fine estate...
Watercolor on paper, 17 1/2" by 23 1/4" inside the mat (22" by 28" in very complementary jet-black and silver framing), signed at lower right in pencil "Swanson" and dated there 2002. This handsome, elegant watercolor is by artist ROY E. SWANSON, obviously a skilled hand, though I cannot seem to actually find a listing for the artist. There is a listing for a RAY Swanson (Cowboy Artists of America), but this is not that artist...

Oil on canvas laid on board 9 3/4" by 8", unframed, the subject a red-haired child, signed at lower right by the noted children's art illustrator at mid century, MAUD TOUSEY FANGEL (1881-1968). She came to be something of a celebrity when it came to depicting children awake and asleep. The present work has acquired a...
This is a pair of engravings from Peterson's Magazine, 1877 and 1882, both nicely hand colored. Size as framed 18" by 20". The prints, titled "Les Modes Parisiennes" are very clean inside the mats. There are vertical central creases as no doubt issued. These would make for a pleasing addition to a bedroom or lady's feminine dressing area. Allow for reflections in some images.
