The work pictured is Klee's 1930 watercolor "Spectre d'un Guerrier". The poster, printed by Jacomet, Paris, measures 27 1/2" by 19 1/2", and is in a silvery metal frame at present. A rare and powerful painting directly on a rather crude wood panel, unframed, 16 3/4" by 23 3/4", by the important twentieth century Peruvian artist ALICIA BUSTAMANTE VERNAL (1907-1968), featuring a group of native people climbing in the bleak mountain landscape, the forward group carrying a shrouded body for burial. The work is titled on the reverse "El Entierro" (The Interment/Burial"), and is dated there 1954, with additional notation "Ayacucho" (the Peruvian city)...
