Martin Borgard, 1835-1935. This artist was born in Norway and then moved to the USA where he worked in California, Old Lyme and Provincetown. It is oil on canvas laid on a wood panel, signed lower right. It is in good condition. It is 7" by 9.25" and framed in an original impressionist frame with outer dimensions of 12" by 14.5". His paintings sell for up to $125,000 and his work is in museums.

Glenn is known for his colorful Abstract Work in vivid brushwork, “Harbor New York”, sign lower left is the oil on canvas measuring 24 x 30“ frame size 32 x 37“ Glenn Pizer American Master Artist is known for his visit colors in masterful compositions, and has been painting for over 30 years. He is originally from the Washington DC area. His work is modern and cubist in respect to his use of jagged lines reminiscent of Clifford Still.

Oil on canvas, 27 1/2" by 22 1/2" (36" by 30" as framed), the subject a young man wearing a colorful bandana, intently working on some objects in his hands, a traditional ethnic mask in the upper right background. The painting is signed in red at lower right "S. C. YUAN", (1911-1974), who was an important Chinese-American artist from the Monterey, California area, however, this is definitely NOT a work of that well-known artist (I showed images to several auction houses and a gallery or two)...

His subjects were diversified and he was equally skilled painting still life, interiors, gardens, landscapes and seascapes. Most of his landscapes and sea scapes were inspired by the ports and canals of Copenhagen. This piece, painted near the end of his life, is a fine example of the techniques employed by Panitzsch that capture the bold colors and tranquil nature of the port city of Copenhagen...
