This is an original etching, 11" by 16 1/2" (17" by 21" as framed), by American artist Kerr Eby (1889-1946). The title of the work is "Cattle Ford", and it was executed in 1945, in an edition of 100 apparently. Eby was born in Tokyo to Canadian missionaries but was in the United States by age 3. American Artist Leon Gutmann born in New York and studied with many of the abstract Artist including those of the Students League. He was personal friend of the artist Hans Hoffman and also showed with Max Kassler. Gutmann studied in France after being educated in his Native New York, after WWI. He met the French Artist Jean De Botton, in 1950 who introduced him to his circle of painters and influential to his work.

Circa late 19th century watercolor painting, probably American, 9 1/2" by 13" (16" by 19 1/4" framed), unsigned, featuring distant high snowy peaks behind a foreground lake. This was found in California and could be a scene of the American west. More than likely, it is by a listed artist---who neglected to sign his or her work. There is some edge browning from the mat, otherwise the work is in excellent condition considering its obvious age.

A vintage impressionist oil on board painting with modernist touches, unsigned, 20" by 16". The work is probably by a listed artist but alas there is no signature. The almost Cubistic handling of the cloth and rear drape and the foreshortened space are most interesting. The work probably dates to about the 1940's. Unframed, and with some small faults common to older paintings, including light soiling, a few minor losses, edge losses etc.
