The print is NOT pencil signed. Munnings is perhaps the pre-eminent painter of all things horses, at least among 20th century artists...

Oil on old gray art board painting of a pirate swashbuckler in the 17th century, 15" by 10" (23" by 18" framed), unsigned, executed in the earlier 20th century style of N. C. Wyeth. This work might have been created circa 1920 or so as an illustration to a book perhaps. The image would be a fine addition to a young boy's room. Condition is excellent save for a few small losses, one at center left (appearing as blue spot) and a loss in the figure's pants (light blue area at bottom).

A circa 1920's etching of the Woolworth Building in New York City, the print signed in the plate and then pencil signed at lower right margin by American artist F.W.W. HOPPE. The artist did leave behind a number of etchings of New York scenes, but there seems to be a lack of biographical information on him or her. The print is in brown ink on a thin paper. Measurements inside the present mat (no glass) are 9 1/2" by 5 1/4" (14 1/4" by 9 1/2" in thin strip frame)...

George Elbert Burr 1859-1939 American This is a rare etching by American artist of the Southwest, George Elbert Burr. The title is: Whirlwinds, Mojave Desert, California no. 2. It was created and printed circa 1930. This pencil signed and titled etching measures 8X10 inches. This appears in the Burr catalog as image number 281.

Old watercolor on paper painting, a study of trees by a lake, the artist likely American, circa 1920's, 13 1/4" by 8 1/2" inside the old mat, possibly signed at extreme lower right corner but it is indecipherable. There are old framer's instructions on the reverse side. The work was found framed and the frame is possibly available to the purchaser at no extra charge, but it is worn and tired. A fresh framing job will do wonders for this fine old watercolor painting.

Georges Rouault 1871-1958 French This is an original lithograph by French artist Georges Rouault. This is a portrait of Gustave Moreau, the teacher and mentor of Rouault. It is known as the portrait in the little hat. This pencil signed impression is the 3rd state of 4 with the edition of 25. It was later published in state 4 with an edition of 350. This lithograph was created and printed in 1926. The image measures 9 1/8X6 3/4 inches. This image is cataloged as F. 57.

Leon Bakst, Russian 1866-1924, was an artist famous for his watercolor costume drawings of the Ballet Russe of Paris France. Measures 11x15” a beautiful work, Egyptian Mosque Woodblock signed “Paris” with small sketch in pencil, hand color sketching.

A skilled pencil drawing of decorative towers of a church or mosque complex, next to a river, apparently in a milder climate location (see palm trees), signed at lower right "STOLZE". The towers, which somewhat resemble those fantasy towers of St. Basil's in Moscow, seem to be part of a mosque complex, as tiny crescent moons appear to be affixed at the tops of the towers. On the reverse is written "by Martin Stolze" There are several "Stolze" names among listed artists, but none of those artis...
