Signed at lower left "Albert L. Fischer", this is an unframed, sizable oil on canvas (46" by 27"), the scene almost mural-like: an apparently Italian lake (see the gondolier at right), framed by blooming wisteria dripping off a trellis at top and climbing a lattice at bottom, several boats plying the calm lake waters. I don't see a listing for the artist...

Executed on heavy watercolor paper, this is a beautiful work by a trained hand, 18" by 26 1/2", unframed, and unsigned. At lower left is written "Valley Ten P/1912", and to the right of and below that "After a fire". On the reverse in pencil is "Valley of Ten Peaks" and "MORAINE LAKE". The painting has foxing in the sky and the reverse is also foxed, but the colors are not faded...

I see a listing for an artist by that name, born 1909, deceased 1995, last known address in Monrovia in Southern California, with earlier roots to Montana, but this painting does not resemble the desert plein air works that artist apparently painted...

Harris", late 20th century, the subject a red rock dramatic cliff of the Southwest, framed artistically by a large overhanging branch arching in from the right side. The work is very clean and ready to hang. This came from a local estate. The artist is talented but from what I can tell not listed. Size is 20" by 30" plus 2 1/2" wide on a side wood frame.
