This is a fragment of a larger 18th century European religious painting. The painting is very well painted in oil on wood with a gesso layer and depicts the thorn crowned head of Christ.
MEASUREMENTS: 19 cm x11 cm (7 1/2 in x 4 1/4 in).
CONDITION: The wood and the painting have been professionally conserved to protect from further deterioration.

This color aquatint by Luigi Kasimir measures 17 3/4 x 15 inches, pencil signed, plated dated 1925, cat: Lorenz-5. The work is obviously by a trained and skilled hand. Condition is excellent; needs only a frame. This being a "standard" size at 20 by 24, a suitable, flattering, pre-made frame should be easy to locate.

Several little children can be seen swimming in the image in frame 9.
