Eighteenth Century Floral Study Watercolor 12”x7” on fine French paper

This small carved two tone agate snuff bottle is 2 5/8” high, 1 ¼” wide and 5/8” thick. The artist used two darker spots to carve as two fish. This makes the double gourd shape snuff bottle unique. It is very well hallowed, polished and in great condition.

A watercolor painting of pine or cypress trees on the coast, perhaps a place like Carmel or Santa Barbara, measuring 14 3/4" by 18 3/4" (20" by 23 1/2" framed). The work is unsigned, (I have opened it up to peek inside, no writing anywhere) and judging from the framing it could date to the 1970's or 1960's.
