I have been unable to link this to a known artist, but the painting is quite edgy and advanced, and technically skilled, reminding of the work of known artists who paint in what I imagine might be called the "Contemporary Realism" style. I cannot make out the signature, and do not know if it be simply by an amateur of considerable talent, or perhaps, by a known artist? The signature most definitely has a professional look to it.

Commissioned oil portrait painting on stretched canvas of a little girl in pigtails and as the patron described, '...you captured her eyes as lipid pools...'. This child is a Scorpio and can fix anyone with one firm look! Although she does not tolerate fools, she is both kind and sweet. Although of European descent her "cat eyes", as she calls them, appear when she smiles.
