Judging from the scenes, these are likely Northern European and of late nineteenth century date. Condition is excellent, one frame has a little nick at top right. A watercolor painting of pine or cypress trees on the coast, perhaps a place like Carmel or Santa Barbara, measuring 14 3/4" by 18 3/4" (20" by 23 1/2" framed). The work is unsigned, (I have opened it up to peek inside, no writing anywhere) and judging from the framing it could date to the 1970's or 1960's. The artist used quality Arches paper (see blind stamp of same). The painting is clean and problem-free; over the years it has slipped inside its mat so will have to be probably re-affixed.
