The title is Vue de Toulon, dated 1849, this painting measures 17 11/2X25 1/2 inches, signed and dated bottom right. Some light crackiing to the painting but everything is stable, the canvas has been backed upon a board no evidence of inpainting. Toulon is a city on the French Riviera and a large port on the Mediterranean coast...

It is mounted on paper with a silk brocade surround and lacquered wooden rollers. The artist's signature is accompanied by a red seal and two spurious imperial collector's seals also in red...

Oil on canvas painting of an extensive mountain landscape, 16" by 20", unsigned, unframed. This is a decorative work that needs a cleaning and a frame. Note how the extreme upper right edge, which had evidently been hidden under a frame, shows the true colors of the work. A regular size, framing this should not be expensive, and it's possible that a careful cleaning to remove the soiling might not have to be done by a professional.
