Lovis Corinth 1858-1925 German This is a fine original lithograph by German artist Lovis Corinth. The title Tal Grund (The Valley) from the series Vorfruhling im Gebirge (early spring in the Mountains). It was published by Euphorion Verlag, Berlin in 1922 in an edition of 125 impressions. This was part of a series of 5 lithographs. The image measures 12 3/4X17 inches. Printed on a medium weight wove type paper.

The poster (behind Plexiglas) measures 47 1/2" by 34" (53" by 40" very tastefully framed in dark wood). I have not opened this up to inspect as it is nicely sealed, but the previous owner spent $500 on framing in Beverly Hills, so I would imagine that the mounting and framing was done to professional standards, perhaps even with linen...
