A black and white photograph of snow in woods, circa 1950's or 1960's, unsigned, 12 3/4" by 18 1/2" (17 1/2" by 23 1/2" in frame), recently acquired from the Beverly Hills estate of Lydia and Charlton Heston; the photo was hanging in a hallway lined with many, many photographic works. Lydia was an avid and accomplished photographer herself, and many of the pieces for sale at this event were her own works...

Acquired from the recent liquidation of the extensive estate of actor Charlton Heston and his wife Lydia, this is an original photograph, unsigned/unattributed, measuring 13 1/2" by 17 3/4", unframed, in a clean white mat. There are a number of contemporary notations in pencil on the mat, including "STILL LIFE MID 1920", and a $300 asking price. The photo seems to be perhaps earlier, so "circa 1900" might be reasonable...

Old photo of a seaside Greek temple with Doric columns, 10" by 14" (17" by 20 1/2" in metal framing with mat). I am not a specialist in vintage photography, but this seems to have some age. There is some silvering at lower right. The print might have been created from an old negative with some damage as there are some white spots in the print that are not damage to the print itself----I imagine that this is disturbance on the original negative...

A black and white photograph image (not sure if actually an original photo) titled at lower left margin "The Meadow Pool", and pencil signed by the artist in lower right margin, the subject a meadow near mountains, measuring 9" by 11 1/4" and 16 1/4" by 17 3/4" framed. Original old photo of the imposing Palace of Fine Arts building in the Marina section of San Francisco, the photo originally in a brown tone, enhanced tastefully with light blue tints. The building was erected for the 1915 Panama Pacific International Exposition in San Francisco, and the complex is all that remains of the construction undertaken for that event. Today it and the park-like grounds remain a graceful and familiar part of the San Francisco urban landscape...

A vintage early 20th century photography of a dirt road bordered by thick vegetation, with hand coloring applied to the trees and elsewhere, signed and blind stamped at lower right by the noted pioneering Oregon coastal photographer, FRANK WOODFIELD (1879-1955). The piece measures 9" by 11" in its circa 1920's frame. J. HARRIS. The area depicted is today very close to...
