A crowded street is visible through the window next to a British Airways advertisement. Pencil-signed, titled, and numbered 10/30 in the lower margin. A fine old etching of a windmill in a low country landscape, signed in pencil and in the plate with a signature that appears to be "J Harvey" or similar. The work is numbered 23/25 at lower right margin. The name being common, there are a number of listed artists that might correspond to this. The numbering suggests a 20th century origin, numbered prints being far less common in the 19th century...

Joseph Addison (1 May 1672 – 17 June 1719) was an English essayist, poet, playwright and politician. He was the eldest son of The Reverend Lancelot Addison. His name is usually remembered alongside that of his long-standing friend Richard Steele, with whom he founded The Spectator magazine. His simple prose style marked the end of the mannerisms and conventional classical images of the 17th century. This work is part of a series all dated London 1748, measuring 15x9”

Arthur J. T. Briscoe, British, 1873-1943, "Flooded Decks". This incredible image by the British etcher, Arthur Briscoe, measures 8 1/8 x 15 3/8 inches, inked signed and numbered, 73/75, created in 1931. Briscoe studied at the Slade Art School and the Academy Julian in Paris and then spent the rest of his time sailing, becoming one of the most prominent British marine artists of the 20th century. He owned his own three ton cutter which he used to sail around the Essex coast...

Titled at lower left "Seven Sisters", numbered lower center 54/180, and signed at lower right by the artist, this is a serigraph print consisting of a commonly seen motif of the Pacific Northwest Coast art, a stylized orca killer whale, surrounded by also stylized human faces. The artist is HEBER REECE (1955-) of the Tsimshian peoples of northern British Columbia, Canada. Reece was born near Bella Bella, B.C...
