The painting is signed at lower right by the artist; the first name is Bruce and the last name is difficult to make out, perhaps Hailey, Harley, Hurley or similar...

A large clean lithograph print in the advanced naive style of acclaimed Jewish artist SHALOM OF SAFED (SHALOM MOSKOWITZ), 1895-1980. The imagery is colorful and comprehensive, featuring blue sky with clouds, architecture, figures, animals, and interiors, along with embedded messages in Hebrew. The Hassidic artist was a watchmaker by trade, and only late in life turned to his artistic talents. His original paintings have brought into five figures...

Contemporary hardwood console table. Made of naturally formed root wood. The back edge is flat but also finished so it can either sit flush against a wall or be left free standing. The natural finish of the wood is a light blond color with an attractive grain pattern.

One of a number of Whistler lithographs I am offering: "Gants de Suede", ("Silk Gloves"), 1890, measuring 11 1/4" by 8", mounted with hinges/tape at top corners as shown, in red mat, unframed. Condition: toned paper, semi-circular punch at left edge and some other roughness there, and fox mark below the famous monogram at right. Toned creamy color is difficult to capture in the photos...

Pastel on paper laid on thick paperboard, 22" by 18", unframed, signed at lower left and dated 1921 by the artist, DAVID COMBA ADAMSON (1859-1926). In this drawing the artist shows his skill with the pastel medium. This is a sensitive portrait of an attractive young lady against an interesting striped pattern background, a red rose before her. There is no indication as to who she might have been (no writing/labels on reverse)...

Original limited edition hand colored etching titled "Haggling" featuring Korean women in a marketplace by German artist Willy Seiler (born 1903) from his Korean series. This is a lithograph of a partially nude, seated young woman, 20" by 17 1/4" (30" by 27 1/2" as framed), signed in pencil at lower right and numbered 244/300 at lower left, by the noted 20th century American artist RAPHAEL SOYER (1899-1987). Soyer, one of several brothers (the others being Isaac and Moses) who became significant figures in American art during the WPA and mid century period, became known for his sensitive studies of human figures in urban settings and interiors...

Oil on canvas still life painting in a very minimal modernist style, with lots of white background giving the painting a very contemporary, airy feel, 18" by 24", in strip frame, signed in pencil somewhat illegibly at lower right. The signature appears to start with "Sarah" or "Sarai", the last name likely beginning with a "T". Painting is in fine condition overall though I note several small smudges at lower center...

Oil on canvas, relined, measuring 17" by 21" (24" by 28" as framed) signed at upper left in red by listed Italian painter CLAUDIO RINALDI (and below which he wrote "Firenze"---where he was active between the 1860's and 1890's). There doesn't seem to be a lot of information available on the artist, but the subject matter and the handling of the faces are consistent with a number of other works by his hand that have appeared on the market in Europe and America...

Original oil painting on canvas by Delos Palmer (USA, 1890-1960). This painting is signed lower right and appears to be dated 1946. Well framed and in excellent condition. Palmer studied with George Bellows at the Art Students League. He is known for his portraits and his illustration work (pulp fiction covers). He also worked on murals in Connecticut for the WPA Federal Arts Project. 25" by 21" in its frame.
